We stayed for our 5 year anniversary and loved it. We booked the luna de miel package (honeymoon) & it was a really great value for everything included. It included 2 nights in a domo (they are really neat! "Glamping" domes with a convertible roof to lay in bed & watch the stars at night!), breakfast every day, one dinner,... More

I'd found Elqui Domos once while seaching for cool places to stay around the world in AirBnb, and when I got the chance to go to Chile I had no doubt on visiting it. The experience was amazing: the service is great, the observatories are really cool and well equipped and the skies of Pisco Elqui are truly an unique... More

Be sure to note that this is not a conventional "hotel", it is more like an upmarket campsite. My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in one of the domes. The domes are very spacious with a lounge area, a large very comfortable double bed up a small staircase and a bathroom with a shower. The dome was... More

We went to the hotel for one night to stay with some friends who wanted to experience the amazing night skies of the Elqui Valley. We enjoyed our stay and had a good time. We thought it was expensive for a what is not quite a hotel but an upmarket campsite with large dome shaped structures acting as rooms, with... More

Elqui Domos is essentially a luxury campground with a heck of a view. I stayed in one of the four cabins higher up the mountain slope and had a wonderful experience. For a hotel/resort in the middle of rural northern Chile, the beds were spectacular and the buildings were modern. The wall-sized windows would open to give you an unobstructed... More

I was scheduled to stay here as part of a package tour of the Elqui Valley in Chile, and after reading the very mixed reviews here I was concerned. Now having been there, it's clear to me that the unhappy reviews relate to not registering on their advertising and/or the generous photo record of the place that the owners provide.... More

This is camping taken to its absolute best - comfortable cabins, were you can watch the night sky as you go to sleep. The telescope session, an extra cost is not to be missed, as it is done in your own small group by a former actor who knows his stuff about the night sky and has the skill to... More

This was one of the highlights of our tour of Chile: to star gaze. We stayed in one of "chalets" but found it very basic and unclean mostly. We stayed only two nights - and that is enough. The cleanliness is poor - stained shower cubicle, dead insect attracting swams of ants, stain on the sheet. Mangy blankets underneath the... More

We stayed here for one night as a birthday treat to my girlfriend and were bitterly disappointed. The Hotel is hugely overpriced for what you get. Yes, the domes are a unique experience, but ours was in desperate need of maintenance. We were the only people staying here, yet they put us in a dome where the zip on the... More

This 'hotel' can best be described as luxury camping, which I mean as a compliment. The domes are a unique way to feel 'outside' of a building but in the comfort of 'inside'. The concept is great and they executed the concept well. The bed was very comfortable with adequate blankets (it gets cold at night) and the dome's lounge... More
