We loved our stay at Lac Des Roches. Our accommodations were exactly as expected after viewing the website and reading the descriptions. The restaurant food was amazing and worth every penny. In fact we plan to go back to the restaurant every year to have their 4 course meal... Our favourite item on the menu, the gnocchi in saffron sauce,... More

We held our wedding here in June 2014. We had approximately 80 people attend and because the resort does not have enough cabins to accommodate 80 people, many of our guests had to stay elsewhere. The owner of Lac des Roches even helped some of our guests to find alternate accommodations, we thought this was great! Until today, when I... More

Lac des Roches is stunning. I have visited the resort a few times now, and enjoy every visit as much as the last. The staff are very friendly, easy going, and always willing to help. The cabins are quaint and simple and have that authentic "cabin feel" to them. Although the meals are on the pricey side, they are definitely... More

This is a gorgeous little lake located close to highway. The cabins are neat, clean and cozy. There is running water but it is not drinkable as it is drawn from the lake, so remember to bring your own water for coffee and drinking. The owner was very helpful when it came to renting a boat for fishing, spent a... More

We checked on line for a place to stay, came across the Lac Des Roche website the place looked amazing, we decided this look every nice. We checked into our cabin (no.6), had to carry/drag luggage down a gravel lake front, entered cabin, very... More

Last week we rented the chalet at Lac Des Roche. We had such a great time, I cannot say enough about how great the staff were. Joe and Luca made us feel right at home. From dinners and bonfires to a beautiful view it was a wonderful and affordable experience. Next time I will be bringing my dog for sure... More

We are bunch of guys celebrating our birthdays in different places like Vegas, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Sun Peaks and so on. This time we chose Lac des Roches Resort for the 50th celebration of one of us who loves outdoors. We've never had such an awesome time like this. We were ice fishing, snowmobiling even played soccer on the frozen... More

A couple of weeks ago, we rented the Chalet and spent two fabulous nights with family. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like we had known them (the owners) for years! So very warm and welcoming. The Chalet was fully furnished and equipped. I had baked a tray of lasagna at home and just threw it in... More

We stayed here as a large group for a summer wedding nearby and after reading reviews, arrived with LOW expectations. Because of this, I think our stay wasn't as bad as it could have been, had we been expecting more. We stayed in a group of 4 cabins all connected with a VERY private "backyard" on the beautiful lake. "On... More

Probably naive we just found out about all the reviews on TripAdvisor and we are trying to reply to them a long time after the fact happened. As we very seldom have “billing issues” it was easy to locate the group (among over 1500 groups/year we host) The issue happened because a family booked the units 9,10,11,12 for a weekend.... More

We booked the honeymoon cabin based on their website, offering tv/dvd player with home theatre sound system, fireplace etc. What we really got was one speaker of five hooked up, the dvd player would only play one dvd before glitching out, the fireplace was actually an electric heater in the corner and yes there was a lake view, but there... We apologize for the inconvenience. We regularly check all out fixtures and everything was working at all times. With electronics it can happen that a wrong set up might make them not work properly. If advised we would have been glad to promptly come to the cabin and fix the problem. The fridge was actually noisy and we fixed it... More
