This review is from a stay back in 2001 on a trip to a wonderful weekend at the 24hr of Lemans in June / 01. As I can see the reviews that have been left are all positive and should so be. Our stay in 2001 was when Mylene and Christian were on their way to restoring the B&B. All... More

We stayed here at this B&B for 3 nights in early October on the recommendation of some friends who had stayed here some 8 years ago. We were not disappointed, it was just as they had described to us and Mylene and Christian were so friendly, natural, down to earth casual people. Their knowledge of the local area, food, wine,... A little hard to find, this B&B was everything we could have asked for. Melanie and Christophe were outstanding hosts. We were so tickled with the ambiance of the countryside so near us that we extended our stay there and ended up sleeping in three of the four rooms. We recommend the room over the outside building. The coach/trailer is... More

We stayed in the Cote Ouest room for 2 nights and it was perfect. The room has its own private entrance making it feel like your own home. The decor was lovely and the bed one of the most comfortable I have slept on. There is a beautiful little stream which runs alongside the place. Breakfast was served in the... More

After reading the other glowing reviews, we chose this B&B for 3 nights as we as we explored the D-Day beaches. It was everything we hoped for and more. The room, with walls of warm stone was comfortable and lovely with many charming French country touches. It was so quiet and we slept very well. There is a splendid garden... More

We loved this Bed & Breakfast! There are just 4 units and all of them are very originally decorated. We stayed in the Cote Ouest which had 2 rooms - especially good if you have children. Our friends stayed in the Cote Boheme - the gypsy trailer. They loved this unit with their own patio to sit on and look... More

Our three nights at Le Mas Normand were very enjoyable and the breakfasts were scrumptious! My wife arrived with a stress fracture of one of here feet (caused by too much walking on cobblestone in Paris!). Mylene helped us find a recommended emergency room in nearby Bayeux, and provided directions to the local pharmacy. She was most kind and considerate.

Couldn't have been more fun. Mylène is the consummate hostess. The roulette was the perfect place for our kids. Star-gazing, bunk beds from a dream, thoughtful touches partout. She recommended a wonderful private guide for the d-day beaches, did everything she could to make us feel welcome, and served a daily breakfast that we'll talk about for years. It's on... More

Where to begin... Seven years ago my husband and I stayed at Le Mas (see earlier review.) At that time the airlines lost our luggage and Mylene went out of her way to be on the phone all day to help us get it. We went 3 days with no luggage! Mylene provided us with everything we needed and on... More

We spent three nights here, and it was wonderful. Mylene is the perfect hostess. The rooms are whimsical and unique, and the breakfast is delicious! The location is perfect for visiting the Normandy beaches, the cheese-makings towns, and other historical sites in Normandy like Bayeux. My husband and I stayed here with our 11 yr old son, and the accommodations... More
