Stayed in the family room for a couple of nights (early April 2015). The B and B itself is a charming old house, spotlessly clean, in a quiet location. The reception we received from the owners was welcoming and friendly, plus a 1st class breakfast. Great central location for Somerset and Devon (just a few miles from Wellington / Taunton).... More

The hosts here, Ellen and Pete, are just fantastic. A perfect balance of availability and being left alone. We've stayed in the B&B (2010) and more recently in the self catering cottage; both get a 5 star review. Wonderful rural location with Wellington only a five minute drive away. We stayed in the cottage over Easter weekend with our children... More

for the last 3 years we have stayed at the Cottage. the only word I can use is brilliant, the welcome we have had from the very start has be so warm and friendly. Ellen always goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy and is so accepting. I would thoroughly recommend.

Sometimes in life you are lucky to meet somebody who you feel you have known forever, and Ellen is one of those people. Four of us had a two-night stay here and we were absolutely delighted. Ellen, the owner, made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble for her, she was so eager to please. She even provided us with a delicious cake and drinks when we returned from a walk on the Blackdown Hills that she had recommended. The breakfasts were... More

We stayed here for two nights, room clean and comfortable with en suite facilities, hospitality trays, television with DVD player and hairdryer. A wonderful welcome and hospitality from Ellen, the Proprietor. A wonderful full English Breakfast provided using the very best local produce. Off road parking, lovely garden. Host, Ellen is delightful and welcomes you into her home like you are a member of the family. We came from America to do family research at Taunton Archives. This B and B was a great location. The beds were super comfortable and food the best. Thank you, Ellen! We will surely return for another visit. Jeff and Kathie Haines
