Hotel Cristallo is clean and def. a good deal to stay there. It was a bit out of the way, however, the bus stop is 20 meters away and it takes you directly to the center of Verona and to the train station. Taken out of its environment, the Cristallo isn't a bad place to stay. You understand as an American traveler that the standard tourist-level hotels in Europe aren't going to be exactly like what you expect in America.
