If you are looking for the perfect setting for a delightful and relaxing holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, your search is over. My financée and I spent an idyllic week at Locanda Le Boscarecce in late July, and we cannot say enough good things about the place. From our second-floor room, the nearby terrace, the open-air restaurant, and the... more

A beautiful location and facility with an unparalleled staff. Susanne and her family will treat you like royalty. Bartolo is a chef supreme. Location is perfectly situated for venturing to so many splendid locations. Almost a must to stay several days to take in all i.e. farmers market, Florence (ask Susanne how her family can help here), vinyards all around.... more

The inn sits high on a hill overlooking Tuscan hills with fabulous sunrises and sunsets. It is a little hard to find the inn but with Mapquest or a GPS system, it becomes easier. The owners will even meet you in the town of Castelfiorentino and guide you back to their inn in the countryside. The owner, Susanna and her... more

I stayed with my mother for a couple of days in May and we both absolutely loved this hotel. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable - the mohair covers on the beds were a special treat! - and the owners are exceptionally warm and welcoming. The classic Tuscan fare was delightful. more

I can only say good things about Le Boscarecce. The inn is a beautiful place, well maintained and with a tennis court, swimming pool and different terraces. The restaurant has a magnificent view and sunset and offcourse great food! Fantastic wine list with really good prices (low). The appartment was clean, pretty and tastfully decorated (and airco!). They really looked... more

Really friendly and welcoming host. Everything reflected the professionalism of the owner and staff. We would definitely stay here again. Situation was peaceful and relaxing and the food was so delicious that we ate in every night. Rooms were very clean - could not fault it more

After a difficult journey from Pisa airport (our SatNav didn't recognise any of the local roads so we had to use the printed out directions from the website) we received an extremely warm reception from Susanna. She is a wonderful host and really looked after us during our stay. The location is beautiful and we watched sunsets every evening from... more

We can't stop recommending this place to our friends and family and I'm certain at least a few of them will be taking us up on it. I discovered it through the website for Alastair Sawday's 'special places' (a journalist friend of ours had used this site with great results) and after reading the Trip Advisor reviews we decided that... more

We stayed for two nights and from the moment we arrived Susanna was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was an excellent size and so full of character. Furnished very traditionally. The atmosphere was so tranquil we felt we had had a couple of days at a retreat. The swimming pool area is also a nice place to relax after... more

From the moment we arrived we felt so looked after by Susanna. Her relaxed manner shows through in the hotel. The place is spotless with lots of thoughtful details and you are able to wander freely. We were travelling with two young girls and they were immediately at home, playing in the wendy house and with the cars. The gardens... more
