used it as a stop on our trip to Italy from England. Quite near the motorway...good restaurant, basic rooms but clean with very good breakfast. Service is good. HAve alsoo a restaurant that seems to be the local attraction.

This 2 star Logis Hotel is in the square of an attractive and quiet village with Chateau, church and Hotel de Ville closeby and not far from the autoroute. Bedroom was roomy with good en suite facilities but dated decor. In contrast the dining room is most attractive and serves excellent food and very good value. Would stay again

We stayed at this hotel to break a long drive to the Alps. The hotel sits in the middle of a pretty village, about 12km from the motorway. Our room was small, simple and clean. It smelt a little musty but was comfortable enough, with good WiFi. The village is small and can be walked in less than an hour.... More

Ideally located for a stopover, the hotel is in the centre of a very pretty village. Our room was small but clean and adequate for one night. The bathroom was fine. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant, the food was reasonably priced and very tasty. The self-service breakfast buffet was also very good. I would stay here again.

If you are travelling through France and need a stop over for the night this hotel is well worth considering and not expensive. The hotel is a simple yet comfortable with the added bonus of a very good restaurant. A very good breakfast is available. The village is small but charming, and very quiet. Not far off the motorway with... More

We stayed here for a night on our way from Calais down to Lake Annecy. This was the perfect stopover. The hotel is conveniently located off the A5 and the town / village is a real treat - it felt very non-touristy french which was lovely. The owners were really helpful and found a spot for our bikes to securely... More

Again we found this charming little hotel in this delightful town via my iPhone apps, would never have got here otherwise. So glad we found it and their delicious bistro in the courtyard at the rear. We had a lovely evening and ate a truly delicious supper under the stars. The owner, I think she was, smiled constantly and couldn't... More

Simple, comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant. We had a menu at €27 which was very, very good. The fish (halibut) was delicious as were the other courses. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Certainly a very good find: peaceful hotel if a little old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. A lovely village and so nice to get a... More

This hotel is 13 km off the A26 then A5 motorway southwards bound. It's located in a charming little village, with a Chateau and a gothic church and lovely buildings around the main square. Deep, deep France after a day on the motorways. It is comfortable in a simple way, all mod cons but understated. It has an inner courtyard... More

Arc-en-barrois is a lovely place in a very beautiful area of France. It's cheap and it has a wonderful garden. The room (nr 19) has no view, just a window at the roof looking at a wall. But it's ok just for sleeping. Breakfast is simple but OK.
