Superb, family run, and friendly B&B nestled in a great location. If you're visiting the area whether on business or pleasure, give it a try - you won't be disappointed. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

In the area on business, not going near the premier inn again. Patrick and Sara provide a warm and friendly welcome to there establishment. I was in the Honeysuckle room. The room was well appointed and felt recently decorated. There was a large and very comfortable double bed, a good size wardrobe, desk and chairs. The bathroom was a good... More

If you try and use SatNav to find the cottage, it will take you to a care home in St Asaph! Thankfully, we phoned the cottage and they guided us to them. Super welcome by the owner and shown to Snowdrop room on the ground floor. Very well decorated and maintained. Patio doors onto a terrace with table and chairs,... More

I stayed here 3 years ago and had a lovely weekend and this year my husband and I managed to stay here for 8 days and had a lovely relaxing holiday. Like other visitors we enjoyed the variey of walks available. In addition although Tan-yr-Onnen is... More

We found this B&B when we were looking for somewhere to stay for our final leg of the Offa's Dyke Path walk. When I read the reviews, I thought they were too good to be true. But just in case, we decided to book...and how pleased we are that we did! Tan Yr Onnen is one of the best B&B's... More

I had the honor to be one of the very first guests when they opened years ago and it was a visit that ended up lasting three weeks. I have been back many times since and recommend it to all of my colleagues as well. I travel quite a bit for work and this is one of my all time... More

We booked very last minute, two rooms each for a couple. Made sure we had rooms next to one-another, the rooms were brilliant - clean, spacious, top notch bathrooms, large comfy beds, mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Were very well looked after, breakfasts excellent (possibly too much food!). Lovely location and although pretty remote was next to by-pass so easy... More

My wife and I stayed here for nearly 2 weeks whilst relocating to the area. Having never really stayed in a Guest House before we were a little apprehensive as to what Tan-yr-Onnen would be like, but we needn't have worried, it was superb! The owners Sarah and Patrick met us when we arrived, they are extremely friendly and approachable... More
