What a fabulous find this was! Beautiful country setting not far from many attractions and close to many other towns and cities. Staff/owner extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful. Many extra facilities that were not expected : fresh bottled milk in mini fridge, chocolates and biscuits daily. Nothing was too much trouble here. Breakfast was amazing. Many option available... We booked very last minute, two rooms each for a couple. Made sure we had rooms next to one-another, the rooms were brilliant - clean, spacious, top notch bathrooms, large comfy beds, mini fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Were very well looked after, breakfasts excellent (possibly too much food!). Lovely location and although pretty remote was next to by-pass so easy... More

My wife and I stayed here for nearly 2 weeks whilst relocating to the area. Having never really stayed in a Guest House before we were a little apprehensive as to what Tan-yr-Onnen would be like, but we needn't have worried, it was superb! The owners Sarah and Patrick met us when we arrived, they are extremely friendly and approachable... More

Your experience of Tan-yr-Onnen guest house starts with a short drive down the private lane to the house surrounded by carefully cultivated gardens, planned with thoughtfulness. It already says a lot about Sara and Patrick before they even greet you and welcome you to their HOME. It is a warm welcome, and these two very nice people will easily engage... More

I can give every support to the enthusiastic reviews of this lovely B & B. The house is very conveniently close to the A55 but stands in lovely countryside: I don't often stop to watch woodpeckers feeding before going to work. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, and could not have been more helpful. I... More

We stayed at Tan-yr-Onnen last night and the room was lovely. The people were very amenable and friendly and the Welsh breakfast very tasty and lovingly prepared . The fruit salad was a lovely aesthetic mix of flavours and colours. Than you so much Patrick and Sarah , and well done.

The owner is very welcoming.........and the room was just lovely. We booked one night and moved onto another hotel.....big mistake should of stayed for 2. Lovely spot. Only minor point would be road noise in the summer sat on the patios. But pick this up and move it to a quieter spot would no doubt push the price up. The... More

Situated within easy reach of the A55 near Colwyn Bay, this delightful bed and breakfast establishment offers very comfortable en suite accommodation. The owners are extremely friendly and exceptionally helpful, especially with advice on local attractions and places to eat. The breakfasts are more than adequate and set you up for the day. There is a large car park at... More

So impressed with Tan-Yr-Onnen Guesthouse. We were greeted by the owners who felt like old friends by the end of day two, and shown to our room which boasted a large bed, large bathroom, and quality amenities. My husband, who is not easily impressed, wants to book again there and arrange an entire trip around getting to stay a few... More
