We booked a room at The Talardy Hotel at the last minute, we booked a world feature room. When we got to our room are room it was set out like an Affrican Safari. There were large elephants and hippos on the floor , animal paintings on the walls, and faux fur bed spreads and bean bags on the floor.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel at the end of August and were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful, in particular the orangery and we were not disappointed by what we found when we went inside the hotel either. A friend had receommended the hotel because of the themed rooms... more

after spending some 4 hours and 30 miles searching for a room we found this little gem by accident. we flopped into reception expecting to hear what we heard a 1000 times this bank holiday "no vaccancies". how wrong we were. a clean spacious reception area with leather couches to chill out on. a warm friendly receptionist despite her coming... more

I stayed at the hotel last weekend and immediately noticed several improvements have been made since I last stayed there some months ago. The Cellars Dining is excellent with a revamped menu promoting Welsh produce - I was spoilt for choice! I was also impressed with the new wine menu which has some excellent selections. The individual rooms are lovely... more

We booked a room here for 3 nights as our friend was getting married here. On walking over to reception the floor is sticky to walk over then when we booked in we asked the recpetionist for a 2nd key which we always do as it means we don't need to rely on each other if we need to pop... more

My wife and two daughters stayed here over the bank holiday period while attending the eisteddfod in Llandudno, due to all the cheaper chain hotels in the area being fully booked. I must say we were all looking forward to stopping in a more 'up market' establishment than the normal travel lodge type establishment, but were disappointed with the general... more

I turned up with 2 nights accom booked, only to find out they only had a reservation for me for 1 night and the hotel was full the 2nd night. When the receptionist checked their booking, it did say that it was for 2 nights, but she shrugged and said the hotel was full, there was nothing she could do.... more

Booked on recommendations of colleagues, for £90 a room for a single and very good it was too. One of those big Victorian houses, right on a main road (junction at that) that needs to offer better than average for the price. The hotel is a little tired (bedroom cupboards and bathrooms) but someone has done a fab job making... more

We had our wedding at the Talardy in Oct 07 and it was fantastic! We had the Chinese themed room which was amazing. I am very fussy but I have to say the room was spot on. The whole hotel was immaculate. All my guests commented on what a fabulous wedding it was and that the food was wonderful!!! The... more
