As soon as we arrived it was a great atmosphere, food was lovely and the waitress 'kat' was brilliant. She really engaged with us all and joined in with the fun. Deserves any bonus she gets. A really great night all round.

Just had a one night stay here when working in nearby Rhyl. This is excellent value...especially when compared to Rhyl hotels at a similar price. I was given a very large bedroom, nicely furnished, warm and comfortable. Being a mid week night, the bar and restaurant area were fairly quiet so service was quick. My meal was generally OK, but... We booked a family room as we were attending a party in the area. While the room was 'ok' for the price we paid and our needs I feel it let itself down by not having some basic items such as a glass in the bathroom, enough cups for the amount of guests in the room and only one pillow... More

Attractive build, decent bar and restaurant, however, the rooms are not luxury and the roady location is a big negative + room size, restaurant atmosphere. Staff generally friendly. Rooms warm and comfortable - room smelled musty and/or of cigarettes. Hotel is very roady and as our Window would not close (paint had sealed it open) traffic was a constant noise... More

After a 3 hour drive we arrived at this pleasant looking 'hotel' feeling hungry and tired. When the chap on the front desk arrived to serve us he was very cheery and repeated constantly about how, if there was anything we needed we only had to ask. Feeling lifted by has positivity we decided to go to our room, dump... More

Thank you for your feedback and I am glad you received a warm welcome on arriving at the hotel. I am however very surprised to learn that you were refused service in our restaurant if it was only 2 minutes after close of ordering, as we pride ourselves on going that extra mile for our customers and your request was... This is a Marstons taverns managed house. The service is pretty average. The food is nothing to shout about, it is just average pub grub some home cooked and some probably microwaved. The building is however worth a visit the brewery must have spent lots of money refurbishing but for some reason it is never as busy as you would... More
