I stayed on my own for just one night, booking in at the last minute. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, making me feel at home. The house is lovely - spacious and graceful. The views from the front stretch for miles over the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, starting with Bodlonfa Hall's garden with its lawns and pond complete... More

We stayed for one night and it was very nice. It was just what i wanted in the middle of lovely fields. We felt very welcome and arrived to a nice homemade cake in the room (which was very tasty). I especially enjoyed breakfast which was a choice or cereal, melon and full english (i went with all 3 options).

Only stayed for the one night but it was like a little oasis in between a busy working schedule. Lovely people, fantastic accommodation and food. Very accommodating generally, we made full use of the snooker table and even enjoyed a cold beer to boot. Quite, comfortable and friendly. In one word 'perfect'.

Over the last week we have stayed in 3 hotels St Davids park chester cost £120 per night and the Beaches hotel Prestatyn £100 per night and then the lovely Bodlonfa hall, by far the best quality and value for money at £75 per night, a friendly welcome, made to feel at home, the best night sleep of the week... Purely by chance my husband and I came across this enchanting location. We approached via the beautiful driveway to be greeted by a wonderful reception hall. The accommodation impressed throughout, from the unique breakfast room to our stylish bedroom overlooking the grounds and beyond. The decor was very tasteful and the whole house had a lovely ambiance. Homemade cake was... More

Just to reiterate the very good reports I have read here in the reviews. Old houses do tend to have power points down low, so I smiled when I had to plug in the kettle. Breakfast was very good, dining room very interesting and all was well presented. Bedroom a bit dusty - I laid my trousers on the floor... More

David and I had a wonderful two night stay here. We were greeted with a very warm welcome from the lovely owners David and Lynne who were very friendly and charming. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel like part of the family. The house is amazing and very homely in a beautiful setting. They do... More

A fantastic hidden treasure. Spacious, clean, handsomely decorated - all within well maintained extensive grounds. Dave and Lyn were perfect hosts. A very restful stay, will definitely be back when next in North Wales. Roadside signage could be improved.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings, the owners were wonderful, even ran us to the Rhyl train station due to the early departure of our train. Stayed with my hubby, daughter and her husband, couldn't fault anything, our only negative is, you do need a car.

this is a lovely presented family home which has 3 bedrooms let out for Bed & Breakfast. As the other reviews say, the hosts/owners were very welcoming and friendly, it felt like you were visiting family! David called us in the morning to make sure that we knew where we were going! When we arrived, we were immediately welcomed and... More
