Me and my partner stayed here a few years back. I cannot fault this b&b. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are wonderful. Very very comfortable and clean. Lynne even ironed my partners trousers and Dave acted as taxi and took us into St Asaph. I have recommended Bodlonfa Hall to a few friends and I will... More

This place has potential to be a luxury getaway – idyllic surroundings, large modern room and fresh milk and cakes on arrival. Unfortunately the room, including the bed sheets smelt of cigarette smoke and there was a lack of hot water in the morning. Room also lacked information about the area, though David was able to recommend some nearby places... More

We have just returned from Bodlonfa Hall after a 2 night break. A lovely warm welcome from Dave and Lynne. The house and room were beautiful and there were welcome slices of bara brith to have with our tea and coffee. Plenty of toiletries and even Hot Chocolate! Breakfast was excellent and very hot. We had a wonderful time and... More

Beautiful setting but room not very clean, poor toiletries, tea & coffee facilities poor, kettle on floor no tea spoon, sugar in bowl crusty, no milk! No tv remote! Great place but attention to simple homely details poor. Breakfast not great. Might sound picky but at these prices & 4 stars expected much better! Wouldn't really recommend except for location.

Christine and I stayed for one night (19th July)' and we could not fault it at all. David and Lynne made us feel very welcome indeed, and we found the room and facilities clean, tidy and well looked after, we wish we could have stayed a few more days. Breakfast was excellently cooked, and there was plenty of it, and... More

We've just returned from the fabulous Bodlonfa Hall - home of Dave and Lynne. It's hard to find the perfect B & B, and I think it is always easy to find something not 'quite right' about your choice of accommodation - but not so with this delightful guest house and it's hosts. You not only receive a warm welcome... More

On arrival we were very impressed by the property, grounds and stunning views and we received a warm welcome. We stayed in the twin bedded room which was in real need of a good spring clean and the window frames were blackened with mildew. The tea and coffee facilities were poor with trailing wires and the kettle was on the... More

Intimate guest house set in lovely rural setting with well maintained gardens, just ducks on pond for company. Amazing view over pond and countryside from the room. Well kept property with attentive hosts. Extremely comfortable bed. Large en-suite. Very tasty breakfast.

Very warmest of welcomes. Helped with our luggage. Room was of high standard, exceptionally clean, and modern clean en suite, We had fresh scones and cream waiting for us when we arrived, along with fresh milk and boiled kettle. The bed also had two hot water bottles, adding an extra home from home touch. The room had everything needed to... More

Bodlonfa Hall is a stunning property with magnificent views. Stayed for four nights including New Year's Eve. When we returned in the early hours there was a lump of coal, a coin, some lucky lavender and two roses awaiting us in our bedroom! Each evening there was delicious cake or mince pies in our room. We were visiting family a... More
