We spent 1 week here at the end of our honeymoon and were a little cautious as we thought it might be too quiet or out of he the way however we were pleasantly surprised! When we got there we were greeted warmly by the former manger Melissa and her husband and immediately introduced to staff and the other guests... More

It is facing the sea, it has friendly and helpful management and staff, a diving shop (the couple managing the place doubles as diving instructors and dive guides), a house reef a short and shallow swim away, clean and comfortable rooms with balconies, and good internet connection. BUT it lacks TV sets in the rooms (except for the honeymoon suite),... More

Had the most amazing time at Blue Orchid and can't recommend it highly enough. Shannon (who is one of EIGHT) and Matt will make you feel so at home from the moment you arrive. And although every room had filled by the end of our stay, they treated each of us as though we were their only guests. And as... More

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Orchid. This small "resort" is built with respect of the nature surrounding it. The rooms are gorgeous, enormous and clean. The sandy beach is just a short walk away and you can snorkel or dive right in front of the Orchid amongst the most beautiful coral reef we have seen on our... More

We came as a group of 4 to this bueatiful little resort. Is is quietly located with a beautiful view over the sea. There are little gazebos where you can relax and even have your meals overlooking the ocean. The service is great and everyone is really friendly. The whole team was very accomodating also regarding special requests. It is... More

I have been here with my family (5 of us). The staff is amazingly nice. 2 new managers started that week and they are great. They have both a very high level in diving (instructors for instructors...). We had the chance to met the owner as well, he is very friendly and we had a great time talking with him... More

The staff were great. Always pleasant. Always helpful. The managers in particular really went above and beyond. The canyon tour was a highlight. Wifi was consistent. We also heard great reports from other guests about the massages - it was a pity we ran out of time to experience this for ourselves. Hope to return here in the future.

The hotel has only few rooms scattered next to the ocean. There is not much to do other than snorkeling, diving or relaxing... which is a good thing. Small sandy area on the shore acts as a beach. Within a short walk (or swim) on the ocean there is an excellent reef for snorkeling. The rooms are basic and clean... More

Luxury holiday! We spent 2 weeks here and it couldn't have been better. The diving and snorkelling just offshore was world class and they have their own professional dive shop. The resort fits in beautifully with its picturesque surroundings and each room has a brilliant seafront view. The kitchen serves a variety of delicious food and cocktails! We made so... More

I enjoyed my stay with the resort in general: nice rooms and beautiful settings - the manager, Melissa, was sweet and helpful. We chose to stay with the resort because the neighboring Club Serena was fully booked (it takes 10-15 min to walk from Blue Orchid on the hard rock during low tide). We went to Moalboal for scuba diving... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our beautiful, private, seaside resort accommodation is tucked away in a secluded corner of Mac Payong at the end of and just 5 minutes walk from the 2km White Beach. With just a short drive away from Moalboal, and Panagsama it offers a quiet, idyllic setting for your holiday. The location couldn’t get any better for diving in the Philippines as one of the best reefs in the area is directly in front of the resort with dive boats anchoring there daily. All you have to do is walk down from the private man made beach with your gear on and start your dive, which is perfect for beginners and also for snorkelers. The resort’s architecture is a blend of Mediterranean and native styles incorporating local stone and thatched roof with white arches and Spanish tiles. Each room has either a large arched doorway or huge glass sliding doors to provide guests with amazing ocean views. Fall asleep after a hard day’s dive to the sound of gentle waves and the wind gently blowing through the yucca trees. ... more   less
