I have always read reviews on the hotels I plan to book and did the same before booking the Platanista. I was not disappointed!!The hotel is lovely and certainly suited best to adults as many reviews state. The room we had was fantastic with beautiful views of the pool and surrounding hills. Entertainment stopped well before midnight so a good... more

We stayed at the Platanista for 1 week and overall were very disappointed. We have 2 young children age 6 and 8 and felt (having read previous reviews) the hotel entertainment really let us down. For our next holiday we will make sue we book a family holiday with a kids club and professional childrens entertainment. The platanista provided very... more

When we arrived we had a superior room which was fine and as we arrived after dinner time a cold plate was made up for us which was good. However there was no information given about the hotel, its facilities or the surrounding area or the extras we subsequently had to pay for: The 20 euros for a security box... more

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Platanista Hotel, Kos. We booked the holiday after reading the reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed, we were very surprised to see two less than positive reviews that have been written since as we had an excellent experience there. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms are... more

We spent 2 relaxing weeks here at the Platanista, which was a good location for relaxing but not too far away to go into KOS Town (45 minute walk or 10 min bus ride - 1 euro and busses every 15 minute last bus back 2am) The hotel was very clean, some rooms had sun on their balconies - we... more

We have just returned from staying at the platanista for 2 weeks and can only say that this is the best hotel we have stayed in. There are only good points and I can honestly say there wasn't any bad points. The rooms are immaculate and the maids come in every day with fresh towels and throughly clean your room... more

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Platanista in Psalidi and felt I had to warn other parents about our experience. We are a family of four with two children aged 13 and 18 years. A member of the Animation Team (in his late 30s), approached our 18 year old daughter at 11.15 pm at night... more

If you come to a Greek island exactly because an island is sorrounded by the sea, then if you stay at the Platanista, get a car!!! - the hotel is probably in the worst part of the island as far as beaches/sea are concerned. On top of that, the best beaches are on the other side of Kos and this... more
