Went to this hotel after reading some really bad reviews and now after returning from the oasis canoa for 2 weeks I cant believe people are so dissappointed with this place . Building work on site was disgusting, this also resulted in restaurants and bars being closed which made it hard for my family to go anywhere at night (unless you wanted to sit in the mosquito infested theatre watching the hidious nightly shows) the only bar open did not allow under 16 year olds in, and seen as how our daughter... more

The grounds were beautiful, food mediocre. The absolute worst part was I had no hot water for showering. They moved me to three different rooms, and still no hot water. Also, I drank the bottled water and still got sick !!! I don't recommend this resort. more
