We spent 3 weeks at this hotel and could appreciate the kindness and availability of both owners, managers and personnel. The premises are manned 24/24 and this make you feel even more protected, even if Bayahibe is rather safe. The room we had was quite large, with a fully equipped kitchen corner and a large bathroom, plus the bonus of a... I stayed here with two friends last week. We were so surprised by how nice our rooms were. The hotel manager was really nice - check in was easy and breakfast was a treat. The hotel property is gated with key entry only which made us feel really safe (tho it's not in a bad area). We walked to dinner... More

What a wonderful little apartment hotel!! We looked for something reasonably priced and found this gem. 3 nights with tax for 89.00 USD. Now it was a only a room with a double bed and and fan but we were only sleeping there. If you want more they have 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with A/C and kitchens too. The... More

This hotel is owned by a former Italian Bakery chef and is styled in an Italian fashion. If you go, be sure to try some pastries! One of the best apple tarts I have ever had in my travels over the world! I was amazed at this. Back to the hotel... It is a small hotel, conveniently located in the... More

Bayahibe is a small town (a couple of hundred residents maximum). This hotel is a series of spacious apartment style suites with separate bedroom, bathroom, and living/cooking/dining space. The decor is rustic but nice. The facilities were basic, but the water was hot, the A/C was cold, and the locations was perfect. If you are not looking for the "all-inclusive"... More

We opted to stay here instead of a resort so we could get a little local culture, eat some local food, and save some money. This hotel was perfect. We had a ground floor room (the ones upstairs are probably better, the outdoor area in our room was pretty much just an extension of the parking area--the upstairs ones seem... More

The double rooms are spacious enough, and have a nice kitchenette (no microwave), the apartments are pretty good, with a decent sized bathroom (probably one of the largest on the trip) with fine hot water and pressure, there is a mini-fridge and a 4-burner (gas) that could leave you scratching your head for a day or so, also a pullout... Stayed three nights. Yes there are roosters (several thousand it seems) but I'm a light sleeper and they didn't bother me. We had a room on top with balconey on three sides. No AC but the fan was completely adequate. Large room, great shower, very comfortable bed. WiFi worked for us. Can't get coffee till 8:00 but otherwise service was... More

There are not many options in Bayahibe. This is definitely the best we saw. We had a suite with a view and the wrap-around deck was great. The rooms and bathroom are very large. Good water pressure. Staff was friendly and helpful, but the wifi never did work. The restaurant was never open, but it was the off season. The... More
