Oh how i wish i had paid attention to some of the other reviews on this place before i decided to go anyway. I have just got back from Two weeks there, from 10/03/14 to 24/03/14. Below are my thoughts, both good and bad. LOCATION Some people have complained about this, but for us, it was ok. It was more... More

The staff were lovely. Seems to be a favoured destination of the German folk. The hotels rooms are pleasant and very quiet. The food is sufficient for AI and considering they are trying to cater for so many people all the time. Plenty of outside restaurants in nearby Jandia if one fancies a change from the fayre on offer. We chose this hotel because we believed it to be near to a beach - and it is, if you are young and fit. The walk down the incline/mountain to the beach was fine but the walk back was a killer - especially if you have health problems as my husband has. How I got him back up to the... More

I feel I must start by saying that we not usually unhappy with any holiday we book. I accept that there will always be differences in standards and have never felt the need to write a bad review. However, there were too many negatives at this hotel for them to go unwritten for anyone thinking of staying here. Location could... More

We have just returned from 11 night stay and was very pleased with the hotel. We arrived 2 hours late (midnight) and they had kept a meal by for us. (Cold salad and fruit). Went back to collect luggage and was told no wrist strap for hotel (thought that a bit strange as other people could come and go as... More

The location was the 1st issue (in the middle of no-where). The room (room 5201) was a good size but thats it, no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The maid only came in 5 out of our 7 night stay and only changed towels twice (had to pay if you wanted more clean towels). The tv had 1 english... More

I liked the room sizes (and that they are in small houses, not in one large building). I had the room with a nice view to the ocean. The food was ok, at least they tried to introduce some local food, apart from other things. The local reaturant however was a mistake... Nothing special there. It's about ten minutes to... More

Stayed Jan 13th -20th 2013. Weather great. The hotel is on quite a steep slope so access to the beach was OK for able bodied .The staff were very good, the rooms spacious and well equipped. The food was 3* quality but plentiful. The majority of guests were German, this wasn't a problem.

Let me start out by saying that you will never find anything perfect. Never. Also, bearing in mind that most people only write reviews to make complaints about things, I am trying to be as balanced as I can. I stayed here between 19th December 2012 and 3rd January 2013, in a party of 6 (5 adults and one child)... More

Just got back, visited from the 19th - 29th December. Hotel itself is very clean, and well presented - some areas are tired looking and could do with a new lick of paint, especially in the rooms. Check in was very easy, staff were able to speak English and able to answer any questions I had. Despite what people say,... More
