We went there by bike, and we found it because it had 4 stars on TripAdvisor. We 3 guys stayed in an old pigeon house, and the host was proud of it! It wasn't possible to lock the door and in front of it there was the bedroom of the host. We shared the bathroom others. Our parents stayed in... More

yann is a charming french man, he speaks good English and gives a good welcome, but if you want a warm comfortable place to stay in early autumn stay in a hotel. The breakfast is very very basic and the rooms are also basic and expensive for what you get. The bathroom is shared unless you're in the room with... More

We stayed at Yann's awesome BnB for two nights in the cosy Pigeonnier. The place is warm and homely, the fire was burning in the kitchen in the morning after Yann rang the bell for breakfast, the room was tidy, comfortable and just as described. Yann is a top bloke, he was waiting for us when we arrived and shared... More

We stayed 1 night at Yann's place, coming there by bikes. La Basinierre is a great place to spend the night, a big rustic house with a bigger garden, just 200m from the castle and the city center and just 20m from the Loire and a boat restaurant. If you would like a true French experience, I recommend you stay... More

We stayed just 1 night with Yann and his family. Our room (there are the 2 of us and our 2 childred aged 6 and 9) was adequate, it has it's own bathroom but it is just behind a curtain! We really didn't mind at all, but you do need to be family or extremely good friends! Yann was a... More

Lovely buildings in a very pretty village, probably easier to approach from Montsoreau. Yann is very helpful and welcoming and also speaks good English. Breakfast with home made jams. Quiet and peaceful location. We stayed in the studio, slight disappointment loo and shower only separated from the rest of the room by curtains. Plenty to see in the area.
