This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. I have been to 3 star cheaper hotels which are much better than this. The air-condition in the rooms did not work. When we enquired about this the reply was that it has been switched off centrally because apparently it is not needed. The air cons become operational in July. In the... more

When we booked the holiday with my partner we were given the impression by the travel agent that it was a superior 4star hotel but unfortunately Portes Palace didn'tlive up to our expectations. The entrance and the lobby of the hotel were small and the decoration gave the impression of a 2star hotel(no paintings on the wall, poor lighting and only... more

Just returned from a 2 week stay half board. Hotel was lovely. Hotel and rooms spotless, rooms cleaned daily. We had 2 rooms next to each other, quite big and both with a balcony and sea view. Air con not the best I have experienced in previous holidays to Greece. Staff very friendly and majority spoke English. Guests from Germany,... more

Stayed here for 1 week. Was Brilliant. Staff dont speak much english but try. Barman Mickial speaks the best english. Entertainment is strange but ok. Not a place to go if you dont like Germans. There was us and another english couple out of all the 400 guests. Hotel is very very clean and the beach is good. We went... more

Great value for money - just fine for all inclusive. Cleaning Ladies should be more discrete, though! Friendly stuff - good food (they should have more BBQ'd stuff though) the beach was ok. Clean spacious rooms with partial see view and if you are lucky you see the sunset from your balcony! more

We went to this hotel for a week holiday in June (two families with two kids). We expected to have 4* + All Inclusive conditions but we were wrong. The room was ok, but the cleaning tool too much time from the cleaning ladies. I happened two or tree times that they came to clean the room at 2 o'clock,... more

I just came across this site and even though 3 years have passed I just had to let everyone know what a wonderful hotel it was. At the time,my children were 2 and 4 years old. They loved the children's pool and I loved the fact that it was 2 steps away. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were... more

We have just returned from a week at the Portes Palace Hotel. The rooms are clean and very nice, with a partial see view, with AC from 03 PM to 04 AM (but in september is not needed), a private bath with a hair dryer, a fridge, kitchen utensils, a TV , a phone and a safe deposit box. Some... more
