We spent a magical Christmas with perfect snow and food. We rented one of the cabins with my parents and two small children and did half board at the hotel restaurant. Yes, the rooms and corridors are a little basic, yes the food is better if you get there early, yes the waiter service is variable, and yes the evening entertainment is not great and alcohol is expensive BUT such a beautiful peaceful location, really friendly and helpful reception staff, gorgeous views out over the frozen lake from the cosy lounge... more
On the whole, this is the sort of place you would expect from a cross country skiing hotel - great location, 400m from downhill slopes & lots of snow.
