This was pre-booked for us as part of our cycling holiday, we arrived at 4.30, on our bikes, only to find that the whole place was deserted, no one at home. Walking around this enormous house, hoping to find someone, we couldn't help but notice it is fairly tired and in need of a coat of paint. We rang the... More

This is not your average place to stay. It is out in the country about ten minutes from Dol de Bretagne. We used it for a home base for visits to Mont Saint Michelle, etc. Dol is a perfect little micro France....anything you need is there plus good local restaurants. There are three rooms-all of which are reached by a... More

This home (300 some years old) is like stepping back in history. We stayed in the attic room- spacious, well appointed, memorable. The dinner (which we shared with our hosts) was among our favorite in France. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast excellent. Sitting on the patio at the end of a long bike ride to arrive at Manoir... More

We spent the night at Belle-Noe in the course of a bicycling trip through Brittany. The hosts, Laic and Marie-Laure Lemaire, could not have been more welcoming or hospitable. We enjoyed a bottle of farmhouse cider on the terrace with Laic immediately after being shown our room. Supper was a six-course affair that made us feel as though we were... More

We stayed for 3 days 2 nights at Belle Noê in november 2013 with our 18 months daughter. We We had a fantastic stay : the rooms were very good, charming, and quiet; the table d'hôte diner we had was simple & excellent (our baby girl was playing with our hosts grand kids which was great); and genuinely nice, simple... The Manoir de Belle Noe is a historic and charming 18th century residence, restored with great taste. The location is calm and quiet, while being near the major attractions of the region. The hosts did everything possible to make us feel at home. Loic prepares a marvelous breakfast. Ask him to show you his photos of the restoration. What a... More

We stayed here two nights, and wished it had been longer. The owners were charming, friendly and interesting, and their restored manor house (built around 1710) was a wonderful place to stay. The sitting, dining and bed rooms have been faithfully restored, and you felt you were living in an historic house. Bathrooms and WCs are fine, though not Holiday... More
