I stayed at Nyungwe Lodge for two nights, me and my wife. The Lodge is extremely wonderful, staff are friendly, Nadege was most helpful, service is the is great, food was for sure 5*, the best i have had in Africa. The chef had a wide range of variety, menus are well planned, and for sure i would reccomend Nyungwe... More

Just stayed three nights at Nyungwe Forest Lodge. It's a beautiful lodge in gorgeous surroundings. Quite a unique place. The rooms were high quality, spacious and cosy, however smelled quite damp. Food in the restaurant was generally good but a bit 'hit and miss'. Would have given the lodge four stars if it wasn't for the surprisingly poor service and... More

When you branch off from the main road driving through the Tea plantation,it doesn't seem to show any hidden excellency. But,the first gate in the plantation starts showing you a class of an extra ordinary accommodation awaiting. And getting to the reception and touring the dining, swimming pool including the villas plus the presidential suite, leaves you speechless. All rooms are fitted with cable... More

Fantastic architectural hotel in the middle of a tea plantation. Nothing much else around, so your driver/guide must take you everywhere. Lovely large rooms and bathroom with lots of hot water and nice amenities, tea and coffee and fridge in the room. Internet wifi in the room was a bit slow at times. All staff were friendly and the food... More

This is a very special place. I've stayed here a few times (always for one-night) on business over the last couple of years. It's always felt like an oasis of calm. The main hotel building is surrounded by tea fields. The lodge accommodation is very well done, right next to the forest. Food and customer service has always been good.... More

I have been to Nyungwe Forest Lodge twice. I found this place a great spot to relax and do some work remotely. It is nicely set up, great service and amazing surrounding. Food is reasonable and manageable portion. I would recommend it for a weekend and even midweek gate-away. The only thing I would suggest to management is to look... More

This was my 2nd time staying at the lodge and i am never disappointed. I always enjoy the first class service, the staff are always so welcoming and smiling. The food is just extraordinaire, the chef outdoes himself, the menu is never the same. The rooms are so spacious and they have TV, an extra perk for staying in the... More

I can't say enough about this place. Gorgeous rooms, gorgeous lodge, superb food, and amazing surroundings. But what always truly makes a place in my mind is the staff. The staff here are fantastic and really go out of their way to make sure you have a great say. I felt very spoiled and very well looked after. A special... More

Nyungwe Forest Lodge is a real find. Set in a beautiful tea plantation, it offers luxury villas on stilts, fine cuisine, peace and tranquillity, and the very best customer service. Hello to Christina from Kenya who was there to welcome me and lead me to the comfort of a log fire, while the short registration took place. A shuttle takes... More

This is Rwanda’s most stylish hotel for sure, set in a lovely area surrounded by tea plantations and the rooms are truly lovely. But BEWARE……We were booked in for just one night (over a weekend) and all other rooms had been sold to the “East African Granite” conference; as a result we experienced a sub-standard buffet style lunch, at dinner...
