This resort is undergoing much needed renovations. Unfortunately, that meant lots of noise and unsightly construction while we were there. We stayed relatively high up in the Kookabura block. We had a nice view of the ocean, but every time we stepped outside the building, we smelled garbage. The only reason I am giving Tangalooma three stars instead of two... More

Good activities - Lots of water sports including sail boarding, canoeing, snorkelling and swimming. We fed wild dolphins one night which was special but we were rushed through to accommodate everyone which rather ruined it. Accommodation was roomy and clean but basic. The restaurants we were assigned to were undergoing updating and the whole experience was rather 'school meals' than... More

Nature is very nice, long clean beach and crystal blue water. Nevertheless if you expect good food , you are really at the wrong place! Pizza , pasta very basic. Chinese restaurant also not good at all. Maybe because mayority of guests are chinese ? And everything for groups! Athmosphere like in canteen! Destroyes a good australian feeling ....

We had a fanatstic time here during the April school holidays. We stayed in the Deep Blue Apartments on the third level. It was so good we extended our stay to 5 nights. Our apartment overlooked the jetty and was perfect for us. We could sit out on the balcony and still watch our upper primary aged children on the... More

Pretty basic resort set up, though the deluxe room is fine for accommodation the facilities are pretty average elsewhere. Dining is the real downer, and it just killed the entire experience really. There are 3 choices: what we came to think of as the enlisted mens canteen, which is your basic emergency hurricane shelter style catering.... Then there is Tangalooma's... More

'Kia ora' Tony V, Firstly thanks for sharing your recent Tangalooma experience, with your great photos and posts on Facebook and Instagram. We are particularly pleased that despite the unfortunate weather you encountered your were able to enjoy the beach and unique dolphin-feeding experience (whilst making all your friends back home jealous in the process). Much appreciated! But your post... More

This is a really amazing place to spend sometime. The resort itself is very nice and the access to the wild dolphins is fantastic however if you get the chance to spend sometime away from the resrt and camp on the other side of the island I would recommend it. I went spear fishing for a 3 days and didn't... More

Stay for 1 night in Tangalooma K Block for 1 night. Room is spacious, clean and very functional. The overall attraction is very exciting, especially the Sand Toboganning and Dolphine feeding. We also experience a wonderful 4WD bus-ride with an experience lady driver. She funny and friendly. A real Australian hospitality.Meals is Buffet, and very decent. I love it. The... More

Our room is ok which is old design with the price that we paid. However , there is new rooms and villa too but higher price. No much food varieties and we had to queue to buy. Everything in this island is expensive as they are the sole hotel in the island. However, we had great experience to feed the... More

I was on one-night trip to Moreton Island. The island was clean, I was very impressed about how a lonely resort island could be managed so good. The hotel room is spacious but pretty old. The food were good, especially the fresh clams buffet. If I have spare time, I would like to spend it in this island again.
