I have traveled all over the world and when I read the other reviews they just sounded like spoiled people. I Love this hotel and Mykonos. Just steps away from the town center. The garden and pool area are secluded and beautiful. The dining area was lovely and the breakfast superb!!! The owner was gracious, very helpful and provided us... More

We paid 100 Euros a day for a twin room and got the last room available. We liked room cause it was quiet ,room 33. It had no view but it did have a convenient clothes hanging rack in the back, outside. Great for doing laundry by hand. There was no privacy in this room if you have the front door open.... More

To get to this hotel you need to be fit, its all uphill from the town. The rooms are fine but outside could do with more lighing as when returning at night there are various steps to go up and down to the room I was staying in which were very badly lit. The shower was badly designed, no matter... More

The hotel located quite close to Mykonos Town and is one of the oldest hotels on the island. The main building has architectural interest. These are the only good points. Beyond this the hotel is below average. The rooms are small and need renovation and the breakfast is very bad. The staff is quite polite. My room had a small... More

We stayed here over the summer. The guy at reception was friendly. Our room overlooked the road but was quiet once the doors were closed. We had a balcony with 2 chairs which was comfortable to sit out in during the warm evenings. It was a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants.

Booked on Booking.com at what was a reasonable rate for triple share. Room was jam packed with the three beds and we literally had no room for our luggage. Air con didn't work and with three people in such a small space, it wasn't good enough. They kindly changed our room, however we saw later in the day they had... More

The Despotiko is just a ten minute walk to Mykonos Town. Resturants and shopping are close. The lobby has a reception area rosewood burl which is beautiful. The remainder of the lobby including the breakfast room are tastefully done. Our room was clean and bright opening up on a large balcony which held two chairs and a table. The bathroom... More

We spent three nights at this hotel. What we liked - the room was comfortable with extra amenities, we had a nice balcony, the staff was extremely helpful, the pool was nice, the location great. What could have been improved - the twin beds because of the frames could not be pushed together, swimming in the pool was not allowed... More
