In fairness to the previous reviewers ( with one or two exceptions), the reviews have been spot on for RGV. Don't go there if you want to be in the midst of the "action" ( we didn't). Don't go there is you want a sprawling 300 room palace with lackeys to wipe your nose ( we didn't). Do try it... more

The hotel and the rooms are very well furnished and you will feel comfortable inside them. But the services as a hotel are almost inexistent (the community pool is less than tiny; the gym, squash and spa are just a name and the rest just doesn't exist).
