Absolutely gorgeous and totally unexpected as drive between airport and hotel is unattractive and shows how over built this island is. My heart was sinking until we entered the hotel grounds. Uniformed staff, stunning interiors and magical views around everycorner. Very large room with balcony, over looking gardens and tennis courts. Wonderful bathroom. Considering this was probably an ordinary room,... More

We returned from our trip to the Canary Islands yesterday and this is my first review I've written on Trip Advisor because The Gran Bahia Del Duque on Tenerife is now my favorite hotel of all time (I have done extensive travel to more than 50 countries over the past 25 years, from 1 star to 5 stars) . Please... More

Just returned from a week at The Gran Bahia del Duque Resort with my family, it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. Great food, great service and great facilities. We will be returning!

We stayed for a week in August with our 8 year old son. This was our first visit to Tenerife and our hearts sank as we travelled from the airport past miles of concrete. The resorts are not attractive. The hotel is well screened from the surrounding concrete and access is limited to guests only. The grounds and pools are... More

We stayed in Grand Hotel Bahia Del Duque for 10 days (8th-18th August) and enjoyed very much everything about the resort. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary welcome drink. The room (479) was clean, bright, lovely decorated and had an amazing view over Bahia Del Duque Beach and hotel's main swiming pool. The buffet breakfast (included in... More

This is our second time at Del Duque and amazed that a) the hotel has not changed and the quality of service, rooms and attention to detail was extremely high, and b) in teh times of credit crunch - it was BUSY! Yes - this Hotel is expensive, but it is worth it and shop around for the best quote... More

Stayed at this hotel for a week at the end of July. I wanted to book villas first, but it was very smart not to do it without actually seeing the area. Do not know what people are writing great review of viilas here, but i would have never stayed there. One private swimming pool is really not worth it.... More

The Villa's are truly amazing, beautifully decorated, a great private outdoor area with your private plunge pool overlooking Tenerife. The staff is very good and very friendly. The Villa's have their own reception area and pool, very nice and very quiet. Of course, the Villa's are not cheap, but worth every penny. Restaurants are good and prices are very reasonable.... Warm greeting by staff at reception, beautiful setting and good service (although not quite as seamless as in US), rooms very luxurious with really nice atmosphere. Amenities are of a very high standard. This must be the best place in Tenerife. Included buffet was excellent quality although a bit much for every night. Breakfast wvery good. Bar drinks reasonably priced... More

We came, we saw, we stayed! In a seaview room with terrific vistas over pool, gardens and out to sea. Receptions was slick and friendly with ice cold cava in our hands within minutes and a cart to take us to our room as soon as we were ready - no rush, we're on holiday. But we did want to... More
