Lesley and Dave were very accommodating as they had only recently returned from a trip and were not intending to provide their wonderful services until the night after my stay. However, as there was only me, myself and I in my party they, very graciously, agreed to bed me and breakfast me. My 'bike was treated to some space in... More

My husband and I stayed at Sedgeford House for a weekend in June to attend our friend's Indian wedding at the nearby Combermere Abbey. Firstly this review is well overdue, an oversight on my part but better late than never! Lesley and Dave (the owners) are two of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Along with their... We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Sedgeford house; the weather was unfortunate however with both the room and the guest lounge being inviting, it was like being at home (without the housework!). Lesley and Dave were very attentive hosts and could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. A homemade cake everyday, yum! Cooked breakfast... More

We arrived here after a hard days cycling and were warmly greeted by Lesley and Dave as well as Jack, the Jack Russel and Millie the terrier. Dave was a cyclist himself and the tandems were soon safely stored in the garage and we were enjoying tea and cake in the lounge. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable with... More

During March 2015 we visited Whitchurch on two occasions and stayed at Sedgeford House. The reception was warm and friendly and the accommodation is of the highest standard, Breakfasts were really good, the bacon locally sourced is special. Both Mrs and Mr Smith are excellent hosts with pleasant personalities..

Stayed for one night only on a business trip. Arrived quite late in the evening, but was welcomed warmly and offered refreshments by charming owner, despite the time. My room was spotless and very comfortable with good shower and amenities. Breakfast was delicious with excellent choice of fresh, local produce. I would certainly stay again and I am very happy... I stayed here whilst cycling LeJog and its ideally situated on the main road through the town. My hosts served my friends and I tea and cake (Homemade too) on arrival and had storage for the bikes too. The garage even had a bike stand for some necessary alterations to my spare bike too as I swapped them over here... More

Stayed one night while doing E2E Cycle Ride. Great welcome, with tea & cakes. Bikes stored securely. Spotless large rooms with ensuites. Big bath available if required. WiFi & TVs. 10 min walk to town - recommend Black Bear & Old Town Vaults. Owners experienced cyclists. Washing done if required. Mega breakfast. Couldn't be better.

From first to last an great example of an english B & B. Warm, welcoming, clean and a tasty breakfast. Plenty of space for parking and easy access walking to Whitchurch itself. Rooms at the back of the house overlook the owners well attended garden - lovely art work and wall hangings hand crafted by the hostess adorn the house.... More

My wife and I stayed here recently for a 2 night stay, and we were not disappointed . The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lesley and David made us most welcome, even getting up at 5a.m. On the Sunday-morning to serve breakfast,as I was competing in a triathlon. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we... More
