A quite country B&B with an experienced chef as the hostess. The facilities were excellent and it is professionally run. We pre-ordered dinner for our late arrival from overseas and we were delighted with the splendid meal and wine - restaurant quality.. We would recommend this B&B for all the above reasons and particularly for the home made marmalade jam... More

We booked a couple of nights at Mulsford Cottage. It was just what we needed a relaxing break and we were looked after splendidly by Kate with help from Molly her dog. The room was lovely, we had our own sitting room and the meals superb. Very well placed for Llangollen and Chester too. We will definitely be going back.... More

I stayed here with my partner for one night for our anniversary. Kate and Molly the dog were most welcoming on arrival and the cottage was beautiful. We had a 3 course meal, which was stunning, and were left to lounge around in front of the open log fire. A lovely night away. Thank you Kate, will be booking again!!!

We only stayed for a night but the peaceful surroundings helped us to relax instantly. Lovely welcome from Kate and Molly the very cute dog (who got on very well with Barney our Labrador). Tea and excellent cake on arrival. To make the most of your stay, we'd recommend staying in for dinner and then making the most of the... More

Stayed here for two nights recently.Kate's warm welcome made us feel at home immediately,as did her delicious ginger tea and home made cake. Our room, the twin, was extremely comfortableand we woke to the most spectacular views of the surrounding countryside from each of the three windows. The breakfasts were superb and Kate conferred with us as to our likes and dislikes for our... I booked Mulsford Cottage for one night initially, to go to a wedding in Cheshire before visiting a friend in Wrexham the next day; I ended up booking a second night as it had been so remarkably relaxing and refreshing! Awakening to the views from my three bedroom windows, out across fields and distant trees visible through pearly dawn sun... More

Stayed here overnight to do a bit of local family research and to break the journey to Manchester. Lovely warm welcome from Kate with drinks and shortbread, log fire burning made the sitting room lovely and cosy after a long drive. We hadn't booked supper as our ETA was a bit sketchy but Kate rustled us up a light supper... More

Stayed here with 2 friends returning from a motorbike tour of Scotland. Were greeted by Kate with drinks and cake and she sat with us and chatted like an old friend - one of the nicest people we met on our travels. The old cottage is in a beautiful rural location and in itself is a fantastic place to stay.... More

What a lovely find Mulsford Cottage was. The welcome was so friendly, we felt more as if we were visiting friends than staying at a B&B. The evening meal was superb, not to be missed! Our room was spacious, with the bathroom adjacent (which perhaps could do with a wee bit of an update).

Thak you so much for your review, it was so nice meeting you, and thank you for pointing out the shortcomings of the bathroom. It sometimes needs a fresh pair of eyes and I booked a decorator last night, and am going this morning to look for a new basin and taps. I hope this addresses the issue. I would... More
