The rooms in this beautiful old palace have antique furniture, pictures and ornaments. The situation is right in the centre of the historic town but there is parking just outside. Breakfast was lovely and in the pretty courtyard garden. It consisted of fruit salad, fresh orange juice ( the best we had) and good coffee ( again very good )... More

The rooms in this restored historic building are unique, with high ceilings and interesting furniture. Located in the center of Lucera's historic district, it's walking distance to everything. Helpful owner Antonio met us at the train station and took us to the hotel. Our room had a small kitchen provided with basic breakfast needs which we supplemented from the nearby... More

What an amazing experience it was to walk into Le Foglie di Acanto. Antonio and his family have created a breathtaking space in this lovingly restored old mansion. The common areas were stunning and each of the rooms was very unique and very spacious. Antonio was helpful, charming, and friendly. He even helped us get to the house by directing... More

Antonio, the owner of this small B&B is a very affiable host and the house is well located in the centre of the city of Lucera. Rooms are simple but well appointed and give you lots of room, while maintaining the character of the older house, and the common area is very spacious, allowing you to sit and relax, take... More

We had a beautiful room (really an apartment since it has a living/dining room with a small kitchen) and a very nice stay. The owners have been renovating this palazzo over the years and filling it with beautiful antiques. We were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The rooms are unique, one with painted ceilings and a truly palatial bathroom was... More

This stay will be memorable. We had a two-floor apartment in an old mansion in the town center. The building is very nice but what made our stay there great was exceptional friendliness of the people who run it. Also, quite exceptional for Puglia, we could communicate in English there :) If you are heading to Lucera, make sure you... More

Stayed here with my girlfriend for one night. Out of our month long trip in Italy, this was one of the most beautiful places we stayed in. We were in the Suite and it was absolutely amazing with the high, painted ceiling and 2 balconies. The common area, garden, and terrace views were also unreal! The owners were extremely nice... You'd never expect the beautiful golden stone city awaiting within the town walls: this area of Puglia is rather flat and dull( although an excellent starting point when coming from Rome or the North). Lucera feels like one of those places that appear through the fog every 100 years. This bed and breakfast is just as special. It is set... More
