We had a very happy and comfortable four nights at Villa Galerie in early February 2015. We had the “Bambou” bedroom which is beautifully styled, has a balcony and large private bathroom. Tap arrangements are a bit odd, but there is plenty of hot water. The view of Fort de France and the bay during the day is spectacular and... More

When you stay in a B&B you are effectively staying in someones house with all the character and idiosyncrasies that this brings with it. This is very much the case in Villa Galerie, Bridget – the owner and host – is a loverly lady who has turned her house up in the hills into a B&B. She likes dogs so... More

Nice clean accommodation in a lovely location with excellent views and quiet (apart from the usual Caribbean wildlife chorus at night). The proprietoress speaks excellent English (not common in Martinique) and is a real character - don't worry if you get a ticking off she does not bite ! It is excellent value for money. Unfortunatley we made the bad... More

Remote setting created great heaven which was separated from touristic area. The owner is flexible, knowledgeable and well accommodated traveler's need. The ocean view from the living room was even better than the pictures in the homepage. (It is unusual, I think.) Breakfast in the shaded balcony was perfect moment for my preparation on the day. I will stay again... More

We stayed at Villa Galeri for four nights, and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Cocotier room, which was clean and comfortable. Brigitte, the host, was helpful and friendly. It was lovely to have breakfast outside while enjoying the spectacular view. We also enjoyed staying here because it was close to both Trois Ilets and Anses d'Arlet. We... More

C’est super! I spent three nights in early May 2010 at Villa Galérie. It was first visit to Martinique. HOTEL - lodging, it is the most important factor for me. I never choose big hotel with many rooms, or hotel chain. When I found here on the internet, I felt “It is for me!!” and my hunch proves right. Instant... More

We would very much like to give La Villa-Galerie a very good rating but after much thought, we are rating it just average. The price is very good (in comparison to what might otherwise be found on Martinqiue) and Brigitte is very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations, etc. but beyond that, we felt our stay was simply average. We... More

... I'm sorry, but our breakfast is f a french breakfast, which is different from English or German breakfast : Homemaid jam and 2 kind of homemaid bread, with fresh orange juice, is a normal breakfast for us ! You could have yogourts too. It is bettter to choose a big international hotel if you want an international breakfast, and... More

I spent four nights in mid-March 2010 at Villa Galérie. I found that everything about Villa Galérie lived up to how it was advertised on its website. Brigitte was very friendly and helpful. Every morning, there was a breakfast of toast and preserves (including some made from bananas growing in the garden), coffee, and fresh squeezed juice from fruits. The... More

This place was so bad that I don't know where to begin. - I don't know what the exact definition of "Villa" or "Galerie" is in french, but unless it means "just a house with unremarkable paintings in the walls" the name is totally misleading. - There are like 3 or 4 dogs in the "Villa" which in the hot... ... I'm really sorry for the cold water, but, as I told you, we have a lot of problems with water everywhere in Martinica this year, because there is no rain enough, and sometimes, there is no water at all . But the morning after, everything was OK. This is the reason why I was disappointed that you had decided... More
