It is the renovated in-town hotel quite stylist with all the details and quite clean. The service is of good standard and very nice. The breakfast is of high standard for all 4 choices to make and very yummy. The drawbacks are only the fact that they have no elevator, the toilet is pretty small and there is no swimming... More

checked in for a night while running around eastern thailand. lobby is quite nice, simple, well-lit, modern. got a 'standard' room (228)....they may have called it superior, but whatever, it was their standard room. pretty compact considering this is supposedly the best hotel in town. not a lot of space in the room itself, though appointments were new, neat and... I have learned that this is the first hotel in Jantaburi and is a family own business, but the owner takes a very good care of it, renovating it every five years or so. therefore, the hotel is in a very good condition. Location : just right in Jantaburi city center, a minute away from the old town / Jantaburi... More

I have to disagree with the previous reviewer. Chanthaburi is a charming, authentically Thai town, and The Kasemsarn hotel is in the ideal location for a visit. The adorable waterfront district is 2 short blocks behind the hotel, and the little downtown area is about 5 blocks over. There is a huge, fascinating morning food market that is really authentically... More

First of all, I would not reccommend the town of Chanthaburi as a place to visit, there is nothing there - we searched for hours looking even for a restaurant to eat, and bar the one by the hotel - which didn't have the best menu, there are none. Visit costal Chanthaburi, as I believe this is the actual nice... More

When we found this Hotel it was a very pleasant surprise, in fact this was the best that we had encountered on our Tour of Thailand. Our tour is not yet complete, so we shall update upon our other findings later. The Kasemsarn Hotel is a Good looking Hotel from the outside, when you pass through the entrance you will... More

We stayed at the Kasemsarn for 3 nights. It's a 2-minute trip by taxi from the Bus station - about 5 minutes' walk. The hotel is centrally situated on the main street where most of the jewellery shops and workshops are, a short walk from the riverside with its old Chinese shophouses, After a 30% off-season discount we paid 880... Nice clean rooms and a helpful staff. Centrally located, near a very interesting historic 'shophouse' neighborhood that runs along the river... right down the alley/street next to the hotel. Next to also the hotel is possibly the best place to eat in town... a fantastic menu with distinctive local items with flavors that are distinct to the region... unlike 'Central... More

The hotel was very new and clean. The rooms were fully equipped. hot water shower, TV, air con, towels, toiletries, etc. The beds were very comfortable and there was a nice little balcony. The restaurant served good food. We were just passing through the town, but if we go there again we'll stay there. At the time we went (before... More

My husband and i have stayed in this hotel last Dec 2009. The hotel reception was nice and comfy. All staffs were friendly and helpful. They were always there to accommodate whatever we need. The location was excellent, in the heart of town and everything. I can just walk to the night market for foods. So.. so.. convenience. The hotel... More
