We stayed for 5 nights in the watermelon bungalow my wife and I in February plenty has been said by other reviews about how wonderful the resort is so I just would like to say that all the positive reviews which is basically all the reviews are 100% true. The staff are wonderful and so helpful and nothing is to... More

We love that resort and had been coming there at least 6 times in a year as it's only 3h drive from Bkk . It's a family owned resort in the middle of the countryside at 300m away from a Thai beach (behind a tiny hill). The Staff speak enough English that you need to get some informations, the food... This resort was the most beautiful place I stayed in throughout my year of traveling the world. I was greeted so warmly by the whole staff and immediately felt at peace. I stayed in the Balinese style bungalow which was so luxurious and comfortable that it made it hard to leave. The motto for the resort is "where the forest... More

Perhaps this place has changed hands since all the good reviews were written. The accommodation is ok. The food was the worst ever. Greasy fried eggs for breakfast for example and none of the other food was good. We ate outside. When we got there the telephone was working, the TV wasn't working, the motorbike we hired wasn't working (they... More

Dear Pablo, Thank you for your review and I appreciate that you have taken the trouble to give feedback. We have not changed managers – my name is Bronwen, I am the owner-manager and I am very sorry you had these problems, which I will address in this note. Our housekeepers are each allocated their own rooms and they take... More

Only 4 days in Faasai, but what a great time ! A family of 6 (with 3 kids 16 - 12 - 9) to discover the mangrove, the waterfalls, the empty beach, and make the most of the good food and the massages provided by an efficient staff. Not too many people during our stay, so we had the feeling... More

I chose this venue based on the other reviews on TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. The resort is immersed in nature and absolutely perfect to chill out, unwind and unplug. It is located a 15 mins walk from Khung Wiman beach, which is still undeveloped and only has a few (good) bamboo hut restaurants. Beaches in Chanthaburi are surely not the... More

Thank you very much for the review. I really appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again! Your comments about the shampoos are very fair and I realise I hadn't appreciated the importance of this to our guests. I had asked my staff to give free shampoo and conditioner to any guest on request but apparently I hadn't made... More

We arrived home last week from another wonderful holiday at Faasai Resort and Spa. We stayed for 2 weeks again (this being our 4th visit) and hopefully will be able to go again next year. We have become very friendly with all the staff and it feels like one big family who can't do enough for you. Bronwen and Suren,... More

Don't come to FaaSai if you want nightlife, shopping and crowds, or a glitzy resort. FaaSai is a small, family-run eco-resort where the emphasis is on peace, relaxation, and appreciating the wonders of nature in Thailand. Yes, they do exist here! If you choose to stay in a balinese-style bungalow, as we did, you'll find a basic but comfy room... More
