Stayed hear for 2 weeks in June 2008, booked a "twin superior" room but found ourdelves in one of the poolside bungalows but without the pool view. Great room but air conditioning was useless. Stayed at the BArcelo for 5 days on a 'girly trip' Excellent location minutes from the beach and seafront shops and resturants. Could not find fault with the food or service in this hotel. The best way I can sum up the Hotel is that it touches into the 5 Star end at a very modest 4 star price. My wife and I arrived early 3 hours before scheduled check-in this was no problem and within 5 minutes we were on our way to our room (uncommon practice even in the big chain hotels).... more
