We have just returned from this hotel after a spending a week there as a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids). We were not that impressed, the room was reasonably clean but with many faults...leaking fridge (although this was fixed when reported), extremely poor water flow from bathroom tap and shower, awful air conditioning unit with almost no effect.... The room was booked for a party of 3 As it was a self catering holiday, crockery, 1 soup bowl, 2 plates, cutlery was for 2 If u are not modest, the bathroom is a glass wall with glass door, shower big enough to have a party if your into that. The put-me-up bed for the 3 guest, had about... More

Nice white open room. Enough space for staying longer terms. Nothing to do in THE hotel. THE bus you can catch around THE corner. THE habour is in ten minutes walk. THE beach five minutes. For your breakfast you can go around THE corner and eat with lokal people.

This used to be one of the first Arenal hotels, named Riomar. When I stood there years ago it was really a place that had to be closed. Just the location at ocean front of Arenal was enjoyable and acceptable. Now they have made it quite a good place, spacious rooms equipped with a kitchen. Only the direct access to... More

This is one of those places that leaves you cold. It's quite new, trying to look smart, modern or minimal, but results quite flavourless instead. When you book don't expect to get one of the rooms with a (very nice) view over the bay, when we checked out we were offered one for a €20 supplement per night, which is... More

We booked this hotel as we were only staying for the weekend and it seems very well priced. On arrival we were met by a curly haired individual who just didnt seem to know what he was doing on the reception, we were kept waiting for well over an hour whilst this man talked to his girlfriend on his mobile/chatted... The hotel was nice and in central Arenal. The beach is lovely but the resort itself, was full of young germans out to get very drunk. The hotel was modern and clean, air conditioned but did not provide a kettle despite numerous times of asking. The staff were lovely and gave us a bottle of bubbly for my husbands birthday... More
