The general reviews of these apartments are fair. These apartments are right on the main street of del carmen yet manage to be peaceful. Not recommended if you want organised entertainment as there is none! The apartments are spotlessly clean and well equipped - whilst we were there they were upgrading the apartments putting in microwaves, not sure what else.... more

I stayed at Barcarola for one week on a family holiday. The place was spotless, manned by wonderfully friendly staff and close to one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in (Antica Trattoria Di Verona). Stayed at the Barcarola lub with a friend and a fantastic time. The rooms was really big with a nice terrace, living area and fully equiped kitchen, and was extremely clean and well maintained. Stayed in barcarola last wk. It's a well located place with lots of shops and bars. The pool is good and not too deep. The rooms are clean and basic.
