Arrived to check into our "2xbed apt" to be told there was no such thing??-eventhough its clearly outlined in the 2009/2010 Winter Sunway brochure (from which we booked through our local travel agent) ?? There is nothing wrong with these apartments. A bit out of the way but if you're not greatly unfit you'll be fine! The Hill is not that big!! The beds were changed twice in the week we were there and the towels too. I only used the pool bar twice but both times they were friendly and the food/drinks tasty... more

Arrived at Bitacora Club to be greeted by the Police in the lobby and an anxious guest who's apartment had been broken into. Neither Police nor management seemed to bat an eyelid, giving the impression that break in's at these apartments are an everyday thing.... once we saw our apartment, I could see why... windows & patio doors were secure... more

We arrived at 10.30pm, after a mix up with our transfer. Reception was open and the guy very pleasent. It was late and we went in search of a beer. I think reception could give out an information leaflet helping you find your way down to the main strip, as for the first couple of times you wander aimlessly around... more

Hi All, Stayed in the Bitacora with my Husband 2nd-12th Oct '09. Our appartment was basic but I am delighted to say that it was Very Clean. Towels were changed 3 to 4 times during our stay & sheets once. However, for a small fee of €5 for towels & €7 for sheets, if you wish you can get them... more

Couldn't fault the apartments, they were basic and clean. No air conditioning but there is an overhead fan. Nice size balcony in our room. Lovely pool, although it is a bit deep. Good location for the new town, old town and the beach. Would stay here again. more

We first arrived on a Monday at 9.30pm, The reception normally closes at 11 on a Monday , which is a good job because we threw the suit cases and when out for food, managed to lock ourself out, as the doors lock with just shutting the door and we forgot to pick up the key. Just come back from a one weeks trip to Lanzarote and stayed in the Bitacora Club apts. Where to I start, firstly when we arrived at 9.30pm there were no security or receptionist and we spent the next 30 minutes trying to locate our rooms, keys, access to hotel etc. There was a contact number on the main doors however... more

stayed here the end of aug for 11 days, was a bit worried after reading all the reviews but it was fine apt was clean, towels changed every second day but they dont change the sheets only if your there for 2 weeks! Hills can be a bit hard in heat but taxis are about €3 up. Pool was ok... more
