I have been 3 times at this Resort already. First on a backpacking trip back in 2008, when I did my “Open Water Diver” certification there. The second time was in 2010 on another travel across the Philippines and the last time was just 1 ½ weeks ago as a short getaway as I live in Southeast Asia since 3... More

I have been living in the philippines for best part of 9 years, and this is quiet honestly the worst place i have ever stayed. Not worth the effort to go there unless you enjoy torture. Worst food i have ever been served, none of the staff could be bothered and unmotivated. The rooms were falling apart shower curtain collapsed,... More

Dear unhappy guest, this is the first time that we feel we have to respond to a review, because we believe that everyone is entitled to his own opinion. But 'torture' and the 'worst in the whole of Cebu' seems a bit exaggerated. You must be an expert critic who has been extensively traveling within the province of Cebu and... More

I liked that the resort is so isolated and far away from the city. Really good to get away and get into reading and especially diving! The staff consists of humble locals and the resort is owned by a German family. The food aren't local prices but that ofcourse is because it isn't basic local food. Quality food takes a... More

Economy room, clean, double bed and mosquito net, A/C old and must climb on chair to turn on/off. Also pedestal fan. Bathroom adequate. Food O.K but largely Philippine menu + pasta. Pool nice, but the best thing are the day beds in the shade with mattress, cushions and a cool breeze with views over the water to Mactan. Very very... More

Sorry, I have say it. It's sad. It's located at the end of a bumpy path, the trike has a hard time to get there. The staff is slow. After I ordered, I even had to get water and a cup from a others guest's table after he left. Sorry, what kind of service is that? Honestly... There was no... More

My partner and I stayed here last November specifically to have a cheap and cheerful dive weekend away from Singapore. Over time, we've discovered we get a little disappointed with the cost vs experience delivered when it comes to 4-5 star hotels, so we now choose more basic and simple accommodation. As a result, we rarely come away feeling irritated... More

Stayed here last March with my partner and a friend. We just came from Boracay and decided to visit cebu for the weekend to do some snorkeling before hitting back to Manila. Since we've been in Cebu a couple of times already, we decided to try the waters of Olango. Just a 15-minute passenger boat then another 15-min tricycle ride... More

Getting there is easy (30minutes/800pesos) taxi from Mactan Airport > Hilton pier (20minutes/ 15pesos) ferry to Santa Rosa > Talima resort ( 20minutes / 150pesos ) motorized tricycle ride. The resort is tucked beautifully in quiet secluded corner of the island. I booked the family chalet... Spacious, clean, hot water... perfect!. Excellent for those who seek peaceful and relaxing place... More

This resort is situated on Olango Island, about 30 minutes boat ride from Mactan Island, follow by 15 minutes tricycle ride. The resort is peaceful and quiet, with friendly staffs. There is food served at the resort which is at a reasonable price with a good selection of cuisine. Try and avoid to go at weekends as the resort benefits... More

I chose Talima because of the nice reviews in trip advisor. But dont be deceived! The previous reviews are correct. The professional photos looks nicer on their website. And also like the previous comments... Talima beach is misleading because there is no beach! No sand strip...We did not swim on the "beach" because there are many corals and stones. The... More
