Small rooms, OK but not brilliant restaurant, staff not predisposed to be helpful but persevere and they come up with the goods. Stayed here for 3 nights recently and it's fine. A bog standard budget hotel about 15 minutes walk from the train station which has frequent services to L'Opera. Low cost, clean, adequate.

First room they gave me was very badly smelling. Second choice was frozen and with bedding very dirty. Also walls are dirty with handsprint of something brown... Employees speak only french, at breakfast are not able to understand my room number in english, and checkout was ' instrumental driven too' no one word of english spoken. One of the dirtier... More

We booked the Campanile and they were expecting all 17 of us with our French hosts, local dignitaries from Montesson for dinner and B & B. After a civic reception we were running a little late and informed the manager at 7.15 that the bikers were on the way but would probably not be here until 7.30. He was very... More

If you just need a place to crash, you will get a small but modern and very clean room. Each room has a TV but I was unable to get the air conditioner to work. Everything is bolted to the walls (hair dryer, coat hangers, etc) to prevent guests from disappearing with them. The thing that really got to me... More

I prefer this hotel in the area for my business trips and normally it is all ok. This time I had problems with a taxi thst I booked through the reception. turned up half an hour early and tried to charge me 30 euro waiting fee on top of another 30 euro for 3 km distance. also the room door... The rooms look a little outdated and are rather small. Main problem is that you cannot control the air conditioning on a per room basis (only heating was allowed, no cooling) so I ended up in a room with a temperature of 25 degrees. Furthermore the rooms are quite noisy. There are way too few parking spots to accommodate all... More

At 50€ for your own independent room it's a good value for money, but you have to book online in advance. The staff was really friendly, we had a nice chat during which the clerk made recommendations about where to eat and what to do in the area. The room is just big enough, simple and clean. It has a... We drove 14 hours straight to paris upon arrival we were welcomed by the manager who happened to be outside wearing his unpecable suit and smile. We were given a choice of rooms and got a ground floor one. The room was very nice and clean but pretty small and minimalistic, it had a big bed an a older flatscreen... More

My elderly mother and I stayed one night here and one night at the Campanile across the Seine in St Germain, while visiting relatives. They were both excellent for our needs - simple, straightforward, very friendly and helpful staff, easy parking. In both, I asked for adjoining rooms and this was organised. This one shows its age a little bit... More
