Stayed for 2 nights Dec 2013 in the African Skies room which was very clean, spacious with small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a good size with a large shower. We stayed at Ilanga for 4 nights and it was a really relaxing place to stay. It is a short drive to the beach and the rooms had everything one could need. Stayed at this lodge in 2006 for my honeymoon and it was great.it was quite secluded and we had our privacy.since durban is so hot we spent most of the day by the pool wch wasnt crowded at all and the beach was a short drive away.good stay overall and not expensive

This 4 star guesthouse is situated on the hill above the highway to Port Edward, so the noise of cars and trucks during the night is a constant.
