This hotel is not in Lahr, but in a rural location at the commuter village of Reichenbach. My rear facing room had a pleasant view of forested hillsides, and the interior decor reflected this, with much lightly finished timber. The large shower cubicle even had a photo-mural, of a forest scene with characteristic woodpile,on the solid walls. My room was very large, with plenty of storage, and a... Stayed at the Adler while on a business trip. Very clean, rather large, well cared for rooms. Restaurant was excellent fro dinner with kitchen willing to make dishes upon request, not listed on the menu. bresakfast buffet was very adequate typically German bounty, but if there, try the cheeses, among the best I have encountered.

The hotel was good. Breakfast was extensive, even for German standards. The Apple jam with boourbon vanilla was an exceptional find. The courtyard is excellent for outside dinners when the weather's good. The rooms were spacious and more than adequate. One thing lacking was airconditioning. Given the local climate this is generally not neccessary, but when outside temperatures reach 36... More

I recommend the restaurant at this hotel. The service is good and the food better. We tried the adler menu, the sommer menu and the 4 course menu. If you enjoy fine dining and your in the area, then visit restaurant adler.

I have been to this hotel many times over the past 7 years and quality has always been consistently good. The best rooms are at the back of the hotel on the first and second floors, they are very modern, of a quality one would expect in a four star establishment. Other rooms are a little less modern, but still... More

Pretty much what you’d expect from a German hotel, much like any other and fairly old fashioned. The room was large and comfortable. A separate toilet meant having to move to the bathroom to wash your hands. There is WiFi, but it’s difficult to connect to outside the reception area. The hotel is off the main road, so there is... I stayed here for 2 nights during a business trip. It is a very nice hotel, located a bit outside of the city center. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (carrying luggage to the 3rd floor since there is no elevator). The room was a comfortable size with 2 single beds pushed together. The bathroom had liquid soap/shampoo... More
