Stayed here on our way to the south of France. Nice little village. Our room was in the annex. Very basic - old style French! No air con, although being June this wasn't too much of a problem. The evening meal on the restaurant terrace was really delicious - couldn't fault it. The breakfast was also more than adequate.

Like many people, we used this hotel as our ‘break point’ between Calais and Provence. It was a very pleasant summer evening and the village gave us the opportunity to recharge our batteries after a long first day’s drive, we even found time to take in a (walking distance) wine tasting and made a few purchases to stock our villa... We stayed here for one night on our way to the Mediterranean coast from north of London. Location is very convenient, being less than five minutes from the autoroute. The rooms are on the small, even cramped, size, but are survivable for one night - I would think that the bathrooms have recently been renovated. They have adopted the annoying... More

Revisiting one year later, standards have been maintained. Free wifi was a big bonus with the kids. The dining room is a very pleasant rectangular room and it surely has quite a local reputation. Service was a little slow throughout, especially at the start, though we were not in a hurry. The (presumed) husband and wife owners were two of... More

We arrived at this place upon recommendation of locals at 2.15pm on a Saturday. Everything else was closed in the region at that time so we were pretty desperate to eat anything. The owner told us that the kitchen was closed but as I asked him for recommendation, he offered to prepare us two salads with season vegetables. He went... More

Just 2-3km off the North Macon exit. Pleasantly situated in the village next to a little park. Plus right opposite a wine-tasting outlet of Vire-Clesse appellation - a bonus! Hotel room was of 'normal' logis standard, a bit old fashioned but comfortable and reasonable value - family room for 4 was Eu 98. We found dinner very good. The 3... More
