This hotel is ok as a quick stopping off point for one night but could really do with a revamp. Having said that, the bed was comfortable! The room smelled of drains and in fact the drain in the shower was blocked and water lay all over the floor of the bathroom. There was a lot of noise from the... More

You get what you pay for and for £22 per night a clean and serviceable double room with TV and en suite ( if small) was, I feel very good value for money. At that price, I can't fault it. Staff are charming and helpful too.

I booked this online and received a code for the room as we were not arriving until midnight. Unfortunately the touch pad at the door did not work, but there is someone on duty at the Camponille who was able to let us in. Everything else was great.

We booked in here having crossed from Dover to Dunkirk on the way to Bruges; it is VERY basic but did appear to be clean and the WiFi worked reasonably well; we decided not to stay though, I didn't like the rooms facing onto the metal walkway outside and the scratches on the outside of the door that seemed to... We got what we paid for and we were allowed into our room early. We paid an extra 4.95euros each for breakfast which was not worth it poor selection of continental breakfast. It was easy to get to all the shopping areas we wanted.

Been staying here outward bound to Luxembourg and beyond for a number of years. It seems reading other reviews that the poor rooms are at the bottom. The skull breaking bunk beds are there atleast. Requesting a double always gets you to the front first floor, was out the back once. Rooms are indeed small. Think caravaning or small Japanese... More

We stayed here after a 6 hour drive through England and a ferry crossing. On arrival approx 10pm at night everywhere was locked up no receptionist in sight. Luckily there was a self check in outside, strange that it looked a bit like an ATM, but never mind we were checked in. We were very tired and just wanted a... More

Traveled much....This place takes the cake. I noticed that someone else make the comparison of a ship's cabin. They beat me to the comparison. I'll add that it's an old cabin. If you are heavy, FORGET ABOUT IT. If you are prone to accidents, you are at the right place for more of them. Will bump your head at least... More

My heading covers it really, stayed 1 night on a stop-over after crossing to France via late night Channel tunnel. Clean, comfortable, no facilities, but no costs to match. Cheap stop-over, nothing else. Breakfast not much to write home about, long queues as well, so probably best to eat elsewhere.

I used Laterooms to book this hotel on Sunday at about 4pm. When I arrived at the hotel at 4.20 they claim to have just received my booking and it was too late to give me the ground floor room I had requested, being mildly disabled. Laterooms insists this is purely a hotel group matter.
