Ok so my wife and I booked a last minute overnight stay to Calais , we booked a room at this hotel £27 which was a bargain. When we pulled up in the Hotel car park we looked at the hotel and thought Oh NO because the hotel looked a bit odd. We then spoke to an English man who... More

Arrived at 1.00 to find the self check-in not working, next door @ the Campanile a night guy gave us a room there & in the morning the staff allowed us to breakfast there too. Never saw the Premiere C

Part of a 5 day WW1 trip around France. This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Rooms are small as is the "cabin style" on-suite, but clean and suitably appointed and free WI-FI. Breakfast was fine, open buffet of bread, fruit juice, brioche and coffee, no complaints what so ever. I knew it might be... More

We have stayed at this budget hotel many times, so we know it is a basic motel & convenient for the autoroute. This time, however, there was just too much about it that was poor, even at the budget price. We had 3 rooms. The first room we were given had not been made up and the bathroom door was... More

We booked this place for one night because of the prices, which was ridiculously cheap compared to pretty much any other place in this region (France/Belgium). It is very very basic, like a ferry cabin, almost claustrophobic. But, it was perfectly clean and tidy and even had TV and free wifi which worked well. I actually slept like a baby... More

Difficult to find tucked away behind a truck depot. Although cheap, this was the worst hotel I have stayed in for many years. A tiny room, - people or luggage not both, uncomfortable bed, poor lighting such that you had to open the front door to let in enough light to see anything. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke.... More

The rooms are somewhat reminiscent of sleep capsules - very small indeed. Our room in theory could have taken three (two in a double bed, one in a bunk above), but actually that would have been a bit sardine-like: the rooms are very small indeed, and the tiny ensuite bathroom provides a bit of a manoeuvring challenge! Our bathroom's shower... More

This was a step up from the F1 we stayed at on arrival from UK. Although the room could have been cleaner and a couple of bulbs didn't work it provided excellent value for money. After a long journey we didn't fancy driving to find a restaurant so ate at the Campanile next door. A reasonable dining experience but reserve... More

I feel a bit mean writing a poor review when we only paid €30 for a night. However, the hotel simply wasn't up to scratch. Rooms were old, unclean and basic - more like a glorified camp site than an hotel. Certainly don't resemble the pictures posted on the website. No aircon and ventilation was a window onto the path... a shower and toilet in your room was a big plus point and good basic breakfast food available. My tomtom satnav did not pinpoint the hotel it left me in an area about 1 mile away but after about an hour of searching we found it. I thought the accommodation was good value and would stay again and and try... More
