Work colleague and I went in last night for a quick bite to eat. Decided on Home Made Beef Burger, chips and salad. Burger was poor quality meat and didn't appear home made, chips were not nice and quite a number were jet black so I assume they've been stuck in the fryer for some time. Worse to come was... More

A bit dated. Good staff very helpful. Rather expencive. Room was very small. Door to the toilet had a window not very private. Breakfast selection was o/k. Wedding venue was o.k. Bar staff during the evening quoted different prices.

Firstly this is 100% genuine and our experience. We have stayed here recently and have found the hotel although quite small to be a decent old e world country hotel. The room was decent enough with a nice comfortable bed.Breakfast was decent too. Perhaps the hotel could do with a lick of paint or two especially in the entrance foyer... More

Our two night stay was a wedding gift and we are really pleased to report that we had a wonderful time. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. A special mention to Humphrey bar manager, Ben the chef and Debbie who all went the extra mile. Great food, perfect real ale. King size comfortable bed and quality linen and soft pillows... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the weekend. The room was nice and clean. The Super King bed for comfy and a great powerful hot shower. Our dog stayed too which is good. The meals were really tasty and the breakfast too. We will definitely stay again in the near future. Lovely scenery out of the windows and some great... More

A friend and I decided to spend the new year in the lake district and we stayed at the Bridge Inn. Very friendly staff who helped us to plan walks and arranged for a guide to take us out for the day. We had dinner in the restaurant on New Years Eve which was great value for money. Rooms are... More

Where to start, firstly I hate people who blatenly lie. Table in the bar booked weeks ago. When requested was told "yeah no problem if you want to be sat in the bar" Arrived and was told they don't reserve tables in the bar. I looked round to see the bar full of "reserved" signs everywhere, pointed this out to... More

We took a week-end trip to the Western Lakes in a vintage car and stayed here over Saturday night. It would be difficult to fault this place on any aspect. We arrived very early in the day but in spite of this were given access to our room immediately. This proved very convenient as we had been travelling in an... More
