We enjoyed a fantastic sunday carvery at this lovely pub! The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially great with the kids! The food was great and plentiful and the atmosphere was relaxing (even with the kids!) We WILL be back!!!

Stayed in a family room for one night, nice, comfy and clean. The Inn is beautiful, great location. Helpful staff. Will stay again for longer. The restaurant serves good food. No complaints at all. Highly recommend it.

What an absolute gem. The staff were friendly helpful and professional, and Humpty the bar manager was great fellow. The food is some of the best I've ever had and the menu was great choice at very reasonable prices. Our room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel and looking forward to going back

We arrived at 10 to 3 on Sunday and asked for the carvery, (which finishes at 3) As we were the last people in we were served the remainder of the meat, loads of it! three choices and all cooked perfectly and very tender. The veg was varied and plentiful too. We understand that at busy times you have to... More

As I had been working full time for the previous six weeks decided to have an evening off and celebrate Christmas Eve with a meal out. Did not want to go too far so ended up at the Bridge Inn, mainly so we could take our border collie with us.. Surprised at the lack of people in considering, got our... More

Passing by we tried it on the off chance for a good meal and we were very pleasantly surprised with the inventive menu with Cajun salmon and Spiced steamed bass which was quickly served and well cooked and presented. The Jennings beer was in top notch form too.

Booked for 2 nights over New Year's Eve. This is what you expect from a country Inn. Warm welcome when you arrive, good clean room with comfy bed and a view, several real fires, good beer and food. There was a good atmosphere and we were very pleased that dogs were made welcome. We booked for the New Year's Eve... More

We stayed here for 3 nights late December in Room 9. I must admit to being slightly disappointed when shown to our room because it was cold. We soon sorted it out by turning the radiator on but it would have been much more welcoming if this had been done in advance. The room is utilitarian but perfectly acceptable and... More

We had our wedding here in September 2015. The day was amazing, the room looked great, good food (especially the evening buffet) and great beer. The rooms are all clean and comfortable and our friends and family were well looked after (even breakfasts for those on the campsite next door). Dave and the team worked incredibly hard on the day...
