Stayed for one night over Easter weekend but would have been happy to stay longer. Breakfast and evening meal were both good. Comfortable. clean bedroom. The Bridge Inn advertises itself as dog-friendly. Result -- quite a lot of people with dogs stay there. I didn't find that a problem but it's something to consider if you don't like dogs.

We have stayed at the bridge inn must be 6 or 7 times over the last few years and it has been a very pleasurable experience each and every time, everyone is very friendly and helpful and the meals i think are among the best in the lake district.

We have stayed on 3 occasions and each time has been excellent! Food is fantastic and the selection of ales is good! Love that we can take our pooch too! Plus you meet some interesting characters. Very relaxing place!
