When in Lake Sebu, try the different dishes of the bountiful tilapia (St Peter's Fish). The resort prides itself with 50 tilapia dishes! To complete the Lake Sebu experience, dine in the floating restaurant and be immersed in the T'boli culture with a show from the indigenous group. Do not miss the boat tour of Lake Sebu, too. Now the... More

We did not stay in the resort but ate in its restaurant. It is located by the lake and has small dining huts covered with nice plants. You can choose to eat in the floating restaurant on the lake for an additional P150 cover charge. We ordered the different "tilapia" dishes--grilled, popped (chicharon with fish crackers), and fried with batter.... More

Punta Isla was reportedly the most popular inn around Lake Sebu so we decided to check it out. We were really disappointed because the room they were trying to give us seemed stuffy and hot, with only one ceiling fan. Villa Estancia was definitely the better option. Since we were no longer planning to stay, we just decided to eat... More

I got there for an overnight stay in there T'boli rooms because I was a solo traveller and I tell you it hasn't been a good night for me. The rooms needs a lot of improvement because it is so old, dusty and creepy and it doesn't even have a door knob to lock your room instead it has a... More

I am from Austria but have a lot of travel experience in Asia and I don't mind basic accomodation. But what some people call the best resort at Lake Sebu is really not to my taste.I stayed there only 2 nights and that was enough. The resort has a wonderful garden with a spectacular view on the lake, but the... More

This is supposed to be the best hotel in Lake Sebu so we booked two nights here. It has a good location - beside the lake but the rooms need improvement fast! Room No. 2 has a defective door lock, beds were not comfortable at all, the TV only had 2 channels, and worse, ants were all over the place... More

The resort didn't immediately reply to my email query so I had to make my reservation via phone. We got the 9-bedroom family room. Perfect for a group of packpackers. The room size was just okay to accommodate all of us plus our luggage. We managed sharing one bathroom. There were toilets outside but we cannot find any common bathroom.... More

Punta Isla is one of the nicest resorts at Lake Sebu. The lake gives a serene and relaxing experience too. The lake boating was lovely, especially if you are with your sweetheart, cruising the lake. It was fun at Punta Isla. They also have foods served at minimal cost.

My brothers and I (total of 6 of us) went to Lake Sebu last 22-23 Dec 2011. I already reserved a room in a nearby, cheap hotel. But when we arrived there, we went directly to Punta Isla Lake Resort for lunch. My friends told me they serve many different dishes of tilapia. My, my...the place was simply breath-taking. The... The best view of Lake Sebu in this resort , you can hire a boat here going around the lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery in this place. Rooms , staffs and foods were okay. Try to ride the zipline in 7 falls, its very near to the resort.
