This was a great experience. It was our first stay and it will not be our last. The room was great and very clean. The hotel has a retro feel to it without being dated. If you have a dog no problem. They cater to dog lovers. We did not have our dogs with us but would definitely considered bringing... More

This place is awesome. Yeah, the rooms are a bit dated but super clean especially considering they're pet friendly!! Besides, wow sitting in their room at the beach? Even if you are, you should be on the oceanfront balcony. This place caters to dogs! From the new dog park (WITH SHADE) to the dog washtubs. They're kid lovers too! We... More

My husband and I plus, our teenage daughter spent two nights here in mid June. We normally stay in a condo when we're down for a week, but thought a hotel would be fine for a short stay. I had read an article a few years back about the Atlantis in "Our State" magazine and thought of it when I... More

Just spent a wonderful weekend at the Atlantis Lodge in Atlantic Beach (actually Pine Knoll Shores), NC. Our room looked over a beautiful lawn with a very active bird feeder and over the dunes to the the gorgeous ocean. It was such a peaceful and serene spot. There were a couple of gas grills and a wonderful lounge area and... More

My dog, Sunshine, and I spent several days at the Atlantis and loved it. It was so peaceful and beautiful and was just the perfect place to restore my soul. The room and the grounds were both extremely clean and well-maintained. Even though there were other dogs staying there with their owners, I never heard any noise from any of... More

This is the most beautiful place in which we have vacationed. We had our dog with us and it is difficult to find a pet-friendly place to vacation but the Atlantis has it all. We were there for seven days. Many folks had pets and there were many families. All were very well behaved. There is quite an attention to... More

We recently stayed at the Atlantis. This place is great. The ocean view is magnificent and the best thing overall is that it so Pet friendly. We have a saying in our family "if Petie (our dog) cannot go we will not go. The outside setting is so beautiful. They even have a dog bath for your pet which is... More

Our recent visit to The Atlantis was perfect!! The landscape is beautiful. The flowers and birds singing along with the ocean waves was absolutely heavenly. It was obvious that many families return here year after year! The pool is not your typical rectangular pool! The waterfall into the kids pool is brilliant! Again the landscape is absolutely beautiful. The view... More

Even though we did not take any dogs on this trip, we planned a girls vacation and stayed at Atlantis Lodge for three nights. The room, the view from the room, the pool the beach, the grounds, the weather, all of the staff, everything was wonderful. This time of year they have a beach attendant to set up your umbrella... The Atlantis Lodge has been owned and operated by the Hall family since it was built in the early 1960's. The lodge has a retro feel due to it's age, but it is extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms are well appointed and everything was in good working order. The ocean views from our room (#322) and balcony were... More
