We stayed at this hotel as a break up of the route between England and mid-France, choosing it for its convenience, price and because we wanted to see the Louvre-Lens museum. The information provided told us that the hotel was five minutes away from the museum and close to the town centre. This would only be true if you drive.... More

Super 8 like hotel in lens. stayed here for 2 night. Pros: clean room and very comfortable bed, the restaurant is very good dinner and breakfast were tasty and not too pricey. The hotel is located on the main road and it is good for business trips. The best thing is a high speed WiFi for free. Cons: The room... More

Stayed here whilst cycling solo from Lancashire to Sicily in May 2014. Really very difficult to find and even the locals hadn't heard of it, which was worrying! However, once found, it was actually ok. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms meant I had a good nights sleep. The buffet evening meal and breakfast were actually really good. Wouldn't want... Having stayed at many Campaniles in the past, we were looking forward to staying at another, but unfortunately, it fell well below our memories and expectations. In an effort to appear more modern, they had only succeeded in a stark and garish decor. The room was basic, but adequate, but was not sound proof. We found the staff brusque and... More

A group of six of us stayed one night in this hotel, poorly located at the edge of the city, rooms were basic but were clean, drink and food were expensive. The hotel staff were however helpful and polite.

This was a typical Campanile hotel. We approached from the north and had great trouble finding this hotel - had we come from the Lens direction, it would have been easy. The room and bathroom were generally clean, however, the toilet bowl needed heavy treatment with limescale remover as there were encrusted deposits. Check out was farcical - both the... More

We stoped at this hotel on our way from Ljubljana, Slovenia to London, UK. We stayed in hotel over night and next morning went to Calais ferry port. Hotel was very clean. Even receptionists tried with English, just enough to communicate. Breakfast was very well stocked and was self service. They could only give more options for dinner, while on... More

2 couples stayed 1 night in April to visit the Musée du Louvre-Lens. Hotel is away from town centre so needed car GPS to find it. One room smelled of smoke, but the younger couple were soon allocated another upstairs. Rooms were small motel-style but clean & bright, mostly quiet enough for sleep (apart from noise other guests & cars... More

Think of Premier Inn and double it. Very friendly with clean rooms and good facilities. Bathroom plumbing a bit weird with water saving devices but once understood easy to use. Good restaurant attached not Premier Inn pub next door. good menu and good breakfast. When traveling across France Campanile is one chain I can always trust. This hotel excellent if... More

We arrived at this hotel on our way to Provence. We had high expectations having seen the pictures available. Unfortunately, our room was on the first floor of what can only be described as a Barrack Block. It gave the feeling of isolation in a strange place. Access to the rooms was at the back of the building up an... More
