The reception and service we received was excellent. The rooms were excellent all very clean and comfortable, in fact fantastic. It was so enjoyable to stay at the Three Tuns we hope to return for our anniversary. Excellent in every way and the cost is very reasonable

The pub was cold and we ate lunch with our coats on. The burger was rare but my companion did not want to cause a fuss and leave me to eat my mediocre fish cake alone. I have eaten here many times before with glowing recommendations to family and friends. I was very shocked at the massive reduction in ambiance... More

This is an excellent quality, small, pub-style hotel with an authentic but unpretentious atmosphere. Our room was comforable, clean and had all the facilities that we needed. The restaurant's meals are considerably better than usual pub food. The evening meal was well presented and beautifully cooked. The only drawback was that one of the kitchen staff was absent and we... More

We went there from the east coast specifically for lunch because of the reported Rennie Macintosh style décor and were not disappointed. Most unusual and interesting restaurant surroundings in an attractive little village. It seems odd that there are no photos of the décor on Trip Advisor - we don't have a camera at present. The lunch was very good... More

We had a great 2 night stay here. Food in the restaurant was top quality - probably the best burger we've ever eaten. Handcut chips were pretty special too. All the staff were good at checking if we needed anything and were really helpful. Michelle deserves a special mention - our breakfast host. A lovely lady who was very friendly... More

Cute village and relaxing pub for lunch. Friendly staff and good food. Interesting evening menu and it looked lovely, very well presented. Dog friendly is people need to know that. We were too late for the menu but the chef agreed to make a light lunch anyway.

We recently stayed at this lovely village pub for 2 nights. The rooms are lovely and very individual. Our room (Bed knobs & Broomsticks) was warm, comfortable and clean. It had an adequate bathroom with shower. There was tea and coffee making facilities which some hotels lack sadly. The breakfast was ok but there was very little on the plate... More

The Three Tuns is a really nice pub and the staff are very friendly. However we were the only people staying there and I believe we had one of the best rooms. When we stayed it was quite a warm evening but the trouble was that the cellar AC vent was out side or close to our room. Even with... More
