Relates to Cote Ghyll Caravan and camping Park Thanks for choosing Cote Ghyll for your family holiday. Our staff will always do their best to help you in any way they can. It's quite easy to recommend an eating place in Osmotherley though because the 3 pubs here; The Golden Lion, Three Tuns and The Queen Catherine Hotel are all... More

We came here on the second leg of a weeks camping trip and arrived before 12pm, which is the official check-in time, however our pitch was ready and we were let on straight away. We were located to the left of the site and up a little hill (the pitch was flat) which provided a bit of privacy as there... More

Relates to Cote Ghyll Caravan and Camping Park Dear Reay family Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. The free to use hairdriers, power points and drying room in the toilet blocks are very popular. We have always tried to avoid fitting coin slots on any of our facilities as we know how annoying it can be... More

Amazing camp site in the best hiking area, I love this place and go at least a few times a year. Fantastic walks and the best scenery t'moors has to offer is barely an hours hike away. Great for kids too and very safe environment with the feeling of independence for them. Highly recommend

Relates to Cote Ghyll Caravan and Camping Park Dear Trail Hog The countryside around Osmotherley is great to look at but even better to explore on 2 feet or 2 wheels. We welcome countless walkers and cyclists enjoying the Cleveland way and coast to coast routes. You don't need to be on a mission to enjoy the countryside though; it's... More

This was a really good find for our group of 11 who stayed at Cote Ghyll Mill, the YHA part of the site. We went to the races in Thirsk and found that the location of this place meant that we were only 15 minutes taxi ride away from the racecourse, and the taxi for so many of us would... More

Relates to Cote Ghyll Mill Dear Ian, It's lovely to hear that you approve of our refurbishments. We try to offer great value accommodation in a very special location. Racegoers should be very happy here because it's no more than a 30 minute drive to racecourses at Thirsk, Ripon, Beverley, Catterick, or Redcar. We look forward to welcoming you on... More

Kids paradise, with shallow stream running through it and play area. Lots of kids on bikes, and dogs, real family site. Deep in wooded valley so I imagine it is quite damp in wet weather, luckily we had lots of sunshine. Never ate at the Mill YHA next door. Shop on site useful and staff were lovely, very helpful. Relates to Cote Ghyll Caravan Park Dear Jo I'm pleased that you enjoyed your stay despite the weather. A hot shower with feet warmed by underfloor heating is a great antidote for poor weather outside. Hope to see you again when the summer is in full swing. Jonathan Hill More

We were a large group, taking up the whole of the hostel for the weekend and consisting of young and old ones, males and females. Our organisers had sorted out the bedroom accommodation into suitable groups and the rooms appeared to be clean and perfectly functional for our needs. The large self catering kitchen is excellent and easily catered for... More
