Highly recommended stay. I won't go into detail on the island, but Koh Yao is a secluded and fairly undeveloped island about 30 minutes from the coast. I went for this island because I wanted somewhere totally secluded from the mess of Phuket. The Pavillions are run by an attentive staff who strived to help us with every problem, but... More

This one the hotel I was looking forward to the most on our trip and it was my least favorite. To start with the positives: the place itself, the bungalows, the location are fantastic and impeccably maintained (except for the mosquito nets, which had quite a few LARGE holes). Every staff member was nice and responsive, but service really pales... More

Dear readers, Anyone considering our hotel SHOULD ALSO KNOW that this comment contains blatantly erroneous information: Kaya has stopped working for us 3 YEARS AGO (!!!), and her highly-recommended restaurant has been open for almost 2 years (and not yesterday, as the title leads us to believe...). Looking at the 200+ comments praising the quality of our cuisine at Koyao... More

We arrived for our honeymoon stay at Koyao Bay Pavilions in a private longboat ride that ended on our virtually-private beach. A "welcome party" of three hotel employees were waiting, no shoes on, to take our luggage from the longboat. And the rest of our stay was just like that. Anything we wanted to do the whole time was readily... More

We stayed for 4 days in mid feb for my 50th - had to be dragged away. Beachside villa, huge room beautifully appointed, plus you get a huge open plan sala of the same size. The setting and views are sublime, but nevertheless a nice and discreet setting. The beach is virtually private - very few neighbours. Stunning sunrises. All... More

We had a fantastic week here in this idyllic spot with a lovely bungalow right by the beach, beautiful surroundings, an abundance of nature, superb food, extremely friendly people and lovely staff, amazing views of the spectacular sunrise and a wonderful sense of safety and comfort. We had some great evening massages and some lovely early morning yoga sessions in... More

Eyes wide open...my husband, two sons, 21 and 17 years old, and I enjoyed a week at Koyao Bay Pavilions' in one of two separate homes which slept four adults comfortably. After having toured Bangkok's amazing historical sites for five days, stayed on Koh Lanta island for five days and took daily excurssions to snorkel and explorre several islands, our... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and could easily have stayed for 6 more. The couples only bungalows are truly incredible, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the addition of the outdoor separate sitting areas really complete the feeling of luxury and indulgence. We loved taking a dip in the ocean, followed by a visit to what was essentially... More

Small eco-resort embodying the perfect compromise between (i) comfort and authenticity; and (ii) isolation and connection. Very nice cottage, excellent kitchen, great pool, nice beach, wonderful hammocks, real Thai massages, yoga teacher, very knowledgeable and friendly (and flexible) staff who makes you feel home for a few days on the other side of the world. Highly recommended.

We stayed a week at Koyao Bay Pavillions during Jan 2014. We were seeking a quiet, relaxing place to chill out after a pretty hectic year, and this place provided exactly what we were after. It centres around three pavillions located a stone's throw from the beach, and is backed by a small but excellent restaurant and some villas for... More

Hello Dan, A big thank you for your thorough comment, always a pleasure to read such kind feedback from our guests ! Although belatedly, I would like to take this opportunity, as you mention my imminent departure, to make my "coming-out" officially: indeed, I will be heading back to Cambodia beginning of May with my wife and children, with new... My husband and I chose Koh Yao Noi Island on our first trip to Thailand because of its small size and natural environment, a far cry from crowded Phuket and Krabi nearby. Koyao Bay Pavilions seemed to be exactly the place we were looking for. After arriving at the Phuket dock, we rode for 1 hour on a long tail... More
