After moving to Bangkok a month earlier we were looking for our first Thai island getaway with some friends who were visiting from Australia. After booking flights to Krabi, we started looking around for somewhere to stay. Ko Yao Noi instantly stood out, given its reputation for being untouched and non-touristy. To get there its about 1 hour from Krabi... More

My wife and I stayed at the Koyao Island resort, it has a nice beach and all the rooms are open plan which does not feel very safe or secure. The rooms are not very clean, there are lots of cobwebs and dust all over and are in need of a major refurb. the gardens around the outside showers are... More

On arrival at Koyao Island Resort not much can be seen from its rustic driveway leading to the entrance. But stepping through the reception area you are greeted with enormous views of Phang Na Bay. We stayed in a studio room above the little bar. The room was rustic but unique. Lots of beautiful timber has been used, completely open... More

So it is with great sadness that we are leaving the resort today on the morning of day 5 to continue with our trip to Bangkok and then Chiangmai. The next two days since my last review have gone by in a blissful lazy blur. We started day three with the usual breakfast selection of hot and cold, Thai and... More

We stayed for a couple of weeks in September, and despite it being rainy season, our stay was wonderful. Relaxing (inexpensive!) spa services, beautiful grounds, free yoga classes and overall serene and peaceful experience. We tried a day trip out to Chicken Island which was unbelievable. The tour guide was friendly, funny and the experience was incredible. Snorkeling and island... More

After finishing a great few days in Chiang Mai we went on to the south, booking this hotel yesterday as we wanted some flexibility. The sea breeze suite was available and we knew it was open air but were worried about privacy. We were told by the front desk woman that it was indeed secluded - it was the second... More

Amazing place it look exactly like on the photos as well. The staff was really nice, bungalows nice, clean. We went there with Family and Friends for the wedding Amazing spot for small wedding. Island itself is very quite and undeveloped, so there aren't many turists around.

What an amazing place!! You are really in paradise... You arrive by boat. The staff is amazing friendly! The tents have an unbelievable view! I was there 3 nights but I should stay longer there. Good food, very good massages, nice swimming pool... You are in heaven! I wanna go back!

We stayed at Koyao Island for 2 nights. The place is very quiet and perfect if you want to relax in peace. There are no much room and you will know other guests quiet easily (European clients mainly at the time of our stay). We stayed in a beach villa. It might be a bit bizarre at the beginning to...
